Nose: macerated cherry, hints of alpine strawberry with cinnamon spice, pine wood Palate: fresh berry and pomegranate and little blood orange with pine. Solid tension to carry the wine but integrated and at peak. Still plenty of life and beautiful right now. I dont see improvement from here so just enjoy them!

Delicious red cherry, floral, and spice aromas and flavors with wonderful intensity, complexity and balance culminating with refreshing acidity and tannins on the long finish.

Darker ruby color. Extremely fragrant, wafting nose of hyacinth, strawberry blossom, plum pits, piquant damp cellar, earthen stone. Lithe, incisive layers of dark raspberry, iodine, and black cherry on the palate with medicinal austerity relieved by late-arriving steely sweetness. Sharp acidity and firm tannin. Long finish of blackberry and tart raspberry laden with stone and earth. Early yet but will age magnificently.

Nose - brambleberry, zin? Nose. Per Cindy Loo cherry cola or Dr Pepper Mouth- per Cindy, ‘that’s a domestic I could drink. That would be good with pork chops and apple sauce.’ To me a bit herbal rootbeer-y. Ca Pinot. Nuff said

This is a very elegant, balanced, almost textbook expression of Sonoma Coast Pinot Noir. Medium ruby with a hint of garnet. The nose is clean, medium (+) to pronounced in intensity, with ripe raspberry, tart strawberry, dried rose, rhubarb, celery, exotic eastern spices, black tea smoke. The nose is still developing. The palate is dry, with medium to medium (+) acidity and medium (+) alcohol (13.5%). The tannins are medium and very smooth. The palate is consistent with the nose and still seems fairly youthful. Overall, this is medium-bodied, with medium (+) flavor intensity and length. It is drinking beautifully now and has many years of evolution left, considering what a remarkably good vintage 2010 was.

Terrific bouquet that is highlighted by plum, with secondary notes of tea and spice. A bit thinner than the Littorai pinot to which I'm accustomed, my sense is the 2010s have reached their peak and may be on the beginning of their decline. I had opened a 2011 a few weeks ago that was singing. Humboldt fog brought out the flavors nicely, as did an old fashioned southern pork chop. I'd drink now and hold the 2011s and 2012s.

Nose is muted compared to bottle last year and the year before but it is lifted and light if that makes sense. Grabs the nostrils in a ticklish embrace with no clear fruit label. Developing secondary flavors and showing well with age. Sharpish Strawberry is pronounced giving way raspberry tart that quickly gives way to asian spice, a melange of herbs and then immediately to the fine tannic grip lasting 20-30 seconds Drink it now unless you want to experience the baby boomer generation equivalent of this wine. Lots of fun but not as spry as it once might have been. Great job Ted!

Another 2010 that seems on the fast track for maturity. A delicious, soulful wine that artfully captured the richness of Sonoma Coast fruit without being heavy or tiring. Floral notes and almost smoky minerality offset the soft dark fruit, which came across as surprisingly lifted and nuanced on the palate. Followed with a long finish complicated by menthol and damp dark soil notes.

Super effort from one of my favorite vineyards. A bit more than medium bodied, with a mixture of black and red fruits with red more obvious, beautiful balance, although not much on the nose 30 minutes after opening.

Double Blind Pinot Tasting at T&T's (Tina's House): Impressions: Medium red with a nose of red berried. Palate followed the nose, with the addition of some cranberry flavors. High - acid. Not particularly complex and a long, astringent finish. Not my cuppa. 80

Fully mature. Ripe crunchy red fruit - kind of like Dujac Gevrey with a drop of root beer (which it kind of is).

Fully mature example of Sonoma Coast fruit. Very nice round mouthful. Dark fruits seem to dominate.
