Quick pop and pour. Muted nose of stewed dark fruits. Could have used a long decant. Cellar tracker advises to drink up as this is now at the end of it's drinking window. This bottle was better than my previous. Full bodied with dark fruits, chocolate and earth on the palate. Probably at itpeak right now. Lots of sediment so I believe more time will only deplete the fruit further so drink up.

Huge wine. Purple and dark ruby in the glass. Big chewy dark fruit and chocolate nose. Full bodied and wonderful still youthful. Will try remaining bottles in 10 years.
Really nice. Saturated, plummy, ripe fruit aromatics. Lots of earth and brush complements as well. Really well made wine. Heavy fruit and weighty mouthfeel. Some clove and a cherry finish. These notes are from day two on the bottle. But it kept its composure well over the two days.

This wine shows the true terrior. I tasted this next to the Nicora Euphoric (Grenache). Tilled soil compliments the red and dark fruit. Pleasing aromatics. Xavier is a very talented winemaker with access to good juice.

This wine has put on considerable weight since my last last tasting. Maybe I experienced a little bottle variance last time. 100 percent Grenache is on full display here. Dark red fruit mingles with wet rock, underbrush and mild spice notes. I love the aromatics, texture and depth of this wine. Good juice.

Red fruit with a touch Mediterranean spice and peat moss are showcased in this well made Gigondas. Medium body. Not the most complex Gigondas I have had, but enjoyable from start to finish.

Beautifully integrated in classic Rhone style, with a little earthiness and pleasant acidity, though losing some brightness. Definitely on the downside of its life cycle now, but still with some strength to it. Long finish after a wonderful crescendo starting at a somewhat subdued initial sensation of dark berry and bramble. Nice.

A bit deeper, riper representation of a Gigondas. Comes across as a lower quality wine than other Gigondas we’ve had. Drinkable for the $20 we paid. Raspberry, leather, pepper. Flat acidity.

Decent red Rhone. Plenty of garrigue, herbs, etc. Good nose, medium body, and a pretty good, fruit-driven finish. Unfortunately, it seemed a little tired. Suspect it has passed its prime.

I am biased with this wine, as I am a bit of a Xavier fan, so I anticipated likening this wine, and have enjoyed it in the past. The wine is clear, ruby to garnet in hue. Immediate septs of red licorice, anise, even some menthol - all of which lays over the top of red fruit. The wine is dry and very tannic. Thin on the attack, the wine finishes for some time - I am finding late raspberry and it lingers. Perhaps decanting or more time in the Eurocave, but certainly not upsetting as is...

Probably at or slightly past its peak. Nose screams southern Rhone - blueberries, minerals, garrigue, etc. Same on the palate. Medium body and a decent finish. Just a solid, solid Grenache blend. Great QPR.

PnP, the nose is deep cherry and anise, with a palate that is well balanced and matches the nose along with some garrigue thrown in. A lingering mouthfeel makes this a quality wine at a solid QPR.

100% Grenache Sweet Mulberry, lift, tar and violets, brooding fruit profile. Palate shows sappy dark fruit, tar, bitter cocoa, bright acidity, green herbal note. Mouthwatering acidity and fine drying tannins. Spicy. Good concentration. Don’t see this improving much as its drinking well and primary fruit is fading. Stored accordingly and enjoyed 60-70 on its own. Drink over the next few years… Na zdrowie

Classic nose of black raspberries, violets and garrigue spice. Full and warm on the palate with delicious flavors of black raspberries and smoky minerals which lead to a dry grippy finish with strong notes of garrigue spices and the mistral wind. This is pure, classic, balanced, authentic Gigondas just the way I like it. Fine now but should hold well for another few years.

Rich nose of blackberry bramble and garrigue spice. A thickly textured wine but it's immediately balanced and refreshed by good acidity and a strict structure. There are delicious mouth-watering flavors of blackberries and garrigue with hints of licorice and road tar. The finish is still tannic and grippy with complex notes of minerals and more garrigue spice. This is textbook Gigondas that should continue to age well. Really an outstanding match to venison stew.
