Retail $15. 100% Glera. For a large producer that is close to ubiquitous here in the U.S., it is actually pretty good. Quite light in color with citrus and that characteristic flintiness that I get in many DOC Proseccos. Quite fruity on the palate with the requisite acidity and just a hint of sweetness (which is far better than most), one could do (and I have done) much worse in this category. Very Good. 88 points.
Score is ptq. Lets call it a great drink while cooking with it wine. Made a terrific beurre blanc, kir royale and a base for a choucroute. Would buy again.

For my NV bottle, the wine was very simple and basic. A dusty wine with lemon and honey notes. Good bubbles early but goes flat quickly after opening (even when using a stopper) leaving anything drank after 90 minutes with a rather innocuous taste. Not good or bad, just average.

Subtle sparkler that is not the star of the night, but does help bring out the flavor in appetizers that kick off an event/meal. It's character is true to its Brut labeling as it is not very sweet or fruity.

Clear, pale lemon-green with a pillar of very fine bubbles. The nose is clean with medium intensity and notes of apricot, pear, white pepper, yeast and faint grass. The palate shows a dry wine with medium acidity and flavors of lime, green pear, steel and some yeast. This has a medium body with a medium finish and is a good wine.

Guests brought this popular, easy-to-find prosecco for dinner. Compared to other sparklers we have had in the last few days in the 11-14 range (e.g., N.V. La Marca Prosecco, '06 Luigi Bosca Finca La Linda, N.V.Gloria Ferrer Brut), the N.V. Zardetto seemed lighter in style. A frothy white before dinner that was enjoyable, but not as big a punch on fruit, and the finish is short. Good pear flavors, and a good pairing with various cheese plate items and nuts.

All due respect, but the folks who rated this 88 and above must have been on something - maybe several bottles of this Prosecco. Pale yellow-green, moderate effervescence/largish bead, fruity apple on top with some dryness and a hint of yeastiness. Better than most of its ilk but it can't hold a candle to real Champagnes which wouldn't score at this level. And that's just one reason I never give a score.

Sparkler Sips, Day 2: Bright, simple, and clean. There is really nothing of note about this prosecco, but there's nothing wrong with it either. Very neutral. If you can find it for around a tenner, it would work as an apertif. 82-84

Oddly enough, I read that sparkling wines that are dry can pair with hot dogs. Particularly, chili dogs. This worked. I am not a fan of the wine stand alone (opened it before dinner) but it was dry and tart enough to cut the greasy chili dog. I would have never thought of that myself.

Very nice Proscecco that is light and crisp. Hints of pears and green apples. Nice level of acidity and not too sweet. Great QPR at $10.00, would buy again.

One of the better Proseccos I've had. I like it in Brut form -- less sweet than other Proseccos. High good (83.5).

A VERY enjoyable prosecco - had more ooomph to it than most NV proseccos I have had. A definite green pear component with a lot of bread to it. VERY good, very enjoyable, EXCELLENT QPR at $12. Will buy again.

This had been kicking around the cellar and fridge for quite some time. Finally got to it with crab cakes this evening. As expected, not great, but fine, light, prosecco. Not too sweet and for the price ~ $10 a good wine.
