Purchase at the winery, last bottle which has held up quite well, plenty of Lemon, pear, apple, mineral notes, very nicely balanced. Paired amazingly well with Chicken Crepes Normandy. Well stored bottles should hold up well for a few more years!

Opened the bottle tried with Coravin a couple of weeks ago. Not to fun, and looking at previous notes I think it is time to finish my last bottle within short. It is an excellent wine, I have bought some more of 2016. So best before 10y from harvest.

First bottle since tasting at the winery 7/13, plenty of toasty oak, pear, apple, tart lemon, and crisp acidity. This bottle was not as good as the one I tasted at the winery, but very good none the less!

This is a very delicate Chardonnay. Light on the eye, nose and tongue, it has an evolving pallet of flavors and a long finish. It lacks many of the typical Chardonnay characteristics, and not just oak. It definitely may not be liked by everyone. Pair with light dishes only. Pretty expensive, too.

2014 Oregon Chardonnay Symposium (Stoller Family Estate): Scents of honey, austere apple core, and light pastry notes wrap around mineral character on the nose. It's clean and complex on the palate. Flavors of light apples with peels intact start things out. Light flavors become a bit heavier as a touch of butter rises on mid, but never gets too big. Pleasant evolution works across the palate, and continues with excellent length on the finish. There is good texture on the acidity that lingers long, echoing into the finish. Hints of golden apples appear and linger on the finish as well. The length here is really impressive and the complexity is enjoyable.

We too, tasted this stunner at the winery. WHAM! A truly special chard. Bright fruit. Ripe pear and soft melon with a hint of oak and a light toasty finish. $80 is a lot but we followed WINESHAMAN and joined the wine club to get the 30% discount. With freight, we have 12 bottles in our cellar at $59.42, which is terrific. Oh, yea, the views from the patio are to be remembered.

Tasted at the winery, WOW one of the best Chardonnays I have ever tasted. Beautiful mineral nose, huge pear, green apple, creamy honey, tasted hazelnuts on the palate. This is serious stuff and the only way I could buy it was to become a club member, with 30 percent off a no-brainer.

First off, I really like Oregon Chard. Not much to go around, but along with "True" Sonoma Coast chard, they are currently my favorite styled whites. This bergstrom is killer. I've had one prior vintage a few years back (think it was a 2007), which I enjoyed at the time (big volumptious tropical style), however the 2011 is a different animal. My first reaction to the 2011 was a connection to white burg. It has that sense of roundness/richness but balanced with serious racy acidity, which may primarily be a function of the 2011 OR vintage. The only drawback to this wine is the price - $80/bottle - but if you need to justify it - just compare to the price of a nice white burg - plus its ready to consumer now and likely not going to pre-mox.

Day 1: with grilled seafood, good match and tropical. But 2 day with grilled beef it was stunning. So a slow decant in bottle for 24h is recommended.

At its peak now. Love the producer, and this is one of the best. Butter, nuts, citrus, tropical. Good with grillad fish!

Bright, translucent gold color. Lemon and lime flavors dominate, with hints of pear and spice. Refreshing acidity.

Not an enjoyable bottle. There was nothing wrong with, just not the great bottle we expected based on previous vintages.

Excellent chardonnay, but for the price, I'd rather have some Rombauer at 1/3 the cost.

Very light minerality and lemon; waning fruit; moves quickly to a mineral and stainless steel finish. DRINK NOW.

Medium yellow. Lemon pie nose with ripe pear in the background. Has some serious weight, but finishes clean and crisp turning more to green apple.

This was outstanding showing a bright nose with lemon, citrus, pear, and mineral. the palate is bright and lively with tangy acid, medium body, lifted, lemon, pear, apple. 92+pts.
