Tasted at a real estate closing. 100% Chardonnay. Clear white color. Lively and fresh with just a hint of funk on the nose. Chalky with almond and apple notes. 90 points.

Excellent Champagne with lovely of aromas of apples, baked apples, honey and white nectarines. Light straw yellow color in the glass with vibrant effervescence. On the palate, fresh fruit tastes mentioned above are well exhibited. Finish is full and quite pleasant. The wine’s long lasting effervescence is exceptional.

Nothing particularly special. As always with champagne there’s going to be good quality. I’m not sure what the dosage was in this but it seemed a tad high. Enjoyable in a 375ml as a night cap. Was hard to follow the Bollinger we had before it.

This was really delicious. Nice nose. Continued to open up and get better as we drank it. Was surprised at the quality for a non vintage champagne. Wish I had more

I was impressed by this BDB, it has tons of mineral under the acid tone. it is a good BDB for the price. Good one if you like BDB. After drinking researched a bit on this Champagne house. Should have buy more it has aging potential for sure.

Enticing, incisive chalk-infused nose, slightly austere, is very fresh and lively with a slight floral suggestion and very delicate lemon tone. Equally incisive penetratingly sharp flavor of white fruits shows a bit of residual sugar as warms. Classic style, just slightly marred by sweetish overlay on palate and in finish. Disgorged 7/2014
Pretty good, but a bit coarse. High acid, rich yeast, and tart stone fruit on the attack, with perhaps a hint of RS and richness on the mid-palate. Finish is clean but not memorable.

Bruised apple on the Nose, without much in the way of complicating notes. Light bodied. Airy mouthfeel. Very dry mouthfeel. High acidity. Crisp golden delicious apple. Doesn't come across as rich --- rather, fairly lean and mineral-driven, but does have some guts/drive; crisp; low-level excellent. Ash would pay up to $65 for a 750mL; this 375mL was $25, and is worth a re-buy at that price. Gut impression score: 90 – 91.

From Jeroboam, in Champagne a 3 liter bottle, very intense fresh mousse, taut with savoury yellow fruit, biscuits, nutty, good harmony on the midpalate, lively and mouthfilling tasty, ending dry with some supporting acid, am I mistaken or does Champagne has more tension in a big bottle? Great showing and bottle, but the last sip of this botttle is getting a little tired after some hours, ***(+), 90, 91(+) a DMG advantage!

Full straw color; very rigorous, sudsy bubbles; delicious and showing some early maturity. (The guest who brought it had cellared this bottle for several years.)

Light gold in color, this Champagne showed classic aromas of brioche, white peach, pear and honey. The mouth feel was medium bodied with minerals and a yeasty element. The finish was short and abrupt, with a chalky, somewhat sour note. 12% abv. (Deg.12/2017).
Purchased for $35US, this Champagne had some nice notes but it is not something I'd like to have multiple glasses of. The short finish took away from the overall enjoyment for me.
Imported by Polaner Selections, Mount Kisco, NY.

(12/13 vintage) Pretty nose - bright and spicy and full of life. Florals, kiss of tangerine, smoky. Agressive on the palate - forceful mousse - spicy and wound. A bit harsh and brutish on the end and finish. Nose - 5/6, Palate - 4.5/6, Finish - 4.5/6, Je ne Sais Quoi - 1/2 = 15/20.

From 3L bottle - popped and poured in celebration of our nephew's college graduation. Definitely a bit on the young side for optimum drinking but we needed a big bottle and this was what we could find. I would hold these for at least another five years before popping if we had more in our cellar. Just needs a bit of time to bring out more of the interesting notes - currently more about the bubbles and lemony/tart green apple notes. Despite the youth - fun and enjoyed by all!

No good notes, but I seem to remember this being very high in acid, a bit searing brightness and lemony citrus notes that needed to be tamed down somewhat.

Nose: Green apple, nuts, toast, and cheese Palate: The theme of the nose continues on the palate. Searing acidity coupled with a creamy texture. An initial pear/apple flavor is replaced by a very cool gruyere/comte cheese thing. Finishes with a touch of butter and apple. Quite taught, but improves immensely with increased temperature.

Although we like the "house" and the philosophy, we sipped a glass at Le Bernardin in New York City and, well, were wholly unimpressed. Perhaps the bottle was opened a day or two before? Always risky by the glass, albeit we would never expect that from such a swanky place. Dunno...did not work this time.

The nose showed a bit of reduction at first, but blew off quickly. After, a heady mix of brioche & citrus aromatics. A broad shouldered Champagne in stark contrast to the Chiquet BDB. Yeasty notes at first with backed by some rich fruit. Opulent & generous. The finish lingers.
