Light years ahead of the '14 Neillon from tonight.
Light yellow in the glass with white florals and citrus notes on the nose. Palate feels 5 years younger than the Neillon from just before it. Great acidity and wet stones on the palate. A very nice wine! (but a difficult price point for me). Thanks Ken, for this one!
A bit of a chameleon it was pale and fragrant immediately then dumb then opened to reveal a dense and viscous Chevalier-Montrachet with style and complexity. Seems almost mature. Promising.

At Les Climats restaurant in Paris. Pricey but worth every penny. I've never had a 2014 white burg that was less than excellent but this is the best yet -- in fact, one of the best I've ever had from any year. It reminded me of a 1978 Leflaive Chevalier we had at Taillevent almost 40 years ago. This wine had a beautiful nose, wonderful structure, packed with fruit, long long finish. About as good as a white burg gets. A beautiful wine, I wish I could drink this regularly. It will probably continue to improve in bottle, but it is so delicious now, it is very had to be patient. If I won the lottery I'd buy cases and this would be my house white. Rich enough to stand up to and complement beurre blanc, cream sauce, etc.

Stunning for its purity and seamless texture and deep mineral driven flavors, while remaining crisp and bright. This was packed with intensity and density while remaining balanced. Offering up tons of baked apple fruity flavors, delicate spice and lots of cool slate mineral. Bravo! No rush to drink this as it still comes across youth, but so good even now its hard to resist.

At Winston, Noosa. Under cork with wax seal. This wine was a place green gold colour and had a striking nose of green apple, pear and white stone fruit with touches of nutmeg, crushed limestone and oyster shells. The palate was quite rich and round yet balanced by a background of stony minerality and matiere that provide real drive and authority on the finish. The spicy richness leans more to Le Montrachet but taken on its own that's not a bad thing !

Slow oxed for 5 hours before serving. Amazing acidity. Stone fruit, citrus, vanilla toast and chalk on the nose. Palate had beautiful layers with a lemon squeeze on the finish. Very nice. Should age gracefully if theres no premox. Definitely Moreau’s best vintage.

Tasted from the Pearl of Burgundy Event. This is truly exceptional. The nose had beautiful minerals, nut, and citrus. The palate had amazing minerals, stone fruit and nut fruit expressed in very good depth with density and power. This will be absolutely amazing if you give it 10 years.

Domaine Bernard Moreau Cellar Visit and Tasting (Chassagne-Montrachet): Barrel tasting at the domaine. Wow. Floral, spice and lots of orchard fruit. As ripe and concentrated as the Batard, but textures simultaneously dancing and enticing your sense. Amazing length. 97-98 point potential.

Good balance and tension to the palate. Carrying less wood than the Batard. 93-94

Zachys BYO Montrachet & Musigny Lunch in Burgundy (1243 Bourgogne Society - Beaune): Small glass, brief note. Slightly sweet, very powerful. Apple and baked apple with so much depth. Just a babe.
