Super pure, lazer-sharp and precise, with notes of citrus, some watered fruit, also some sweet spices, wet stone minerality, some implosive personality, with high acidity, some medium+ body but with excellent persistence of a great wine. Long finish with excellent persistence, complexity and tension. Great geeky stuff with so much life ahead. This was one of the most fascinating white wines I have had in a while.

Ganevat at Chedi: Initially much tighter and less expressive than the Grands Teppes but gradually showed its pedigree. A truly contemplative wine with so much complexity, had the body and weight that only the best producers can achieve. A completely different style to the Grand Teppes, this was broader-shouldered and more powerful, with a greater focus on heft rather than tension. Finish that lingered. WOTN for most, including myself.

Really good again but not sure if expectations were too high, or if I have waited too long since last bottle because the first time almost five years ago was goosebumps good, this time not quite there. A very burgundian feel to this, lemon, tangerine, red apple supplemented by lots of white flowers, stony minerality. A little maturity is peeking through, hints of beeswax and honey.

Wow was this wine good. Hit all the right notes for me. Excellent cut, but powerful and dense as well. Lots of citrus, but not approaching sweet. Floral, spicy. Awesome.

Asperg Wine Syndrome Tasting Group: Summer tasting (Asperg): Tasted blind. Clear, beautiful pale golden yellow color. Nose with some hints of oak, burnt almonds, bee wax, vanilla. Chardonnay? On the palate very lean. Medium+/high acidity is a bit unbalance and with too much green citrus notes. Still some CO2. Very dense and mineral, nice tannin, great texture. Very young, fresh and long. 91-92+

Birthday bash tasting (Convivial - Washington, DC): Peaches and candied ginger drizzled in lime, topped in sea salt, candle wax, salted almond, hay, spiced tea. I mean, the complexity is amazing, but the wine is just so vibrant and exciting, that it goes down way too easily. I'd love to see what this does over the next five to ten years.

Really delicious, fresh and powerful at the same time. Typical Jura spicy notes of hay/grass, red apples and grilled lemon. No too dissimilar of the Chardonnay wines of Ganevat and delightfully ready to drink where most of the Ganevat 2013s I have had previously were far from ready (painfully acidic). One of the, if not the, best Savagnin ouillé I have had (also the most expensive to be fair).

Ready to drink. Solid white fruit, bracing acidity, perfect balance and very long finish.
