Pale & light yellow in color with a very fine & constant perlage. Full, forward & attractive nose of ripe fruit aromas of apples, pears & lemons/limes with overtones of floral & yeasty/toasty notes, minerals & a hint of roasted hazelnuts. Light bodied with a very good concentration of well balanced & smooth textured, zesty, ripe fruit flavors of apples & lemons/limes with yeasty/toasty & minerals. Lingering dry finish. Drinks quite well at present & may continue development with further aging if cellared properly.

Kept for about 2 years, was a re-gift and suspect this was about 4 years old.
Raisinated on the nose, bright peach, hint of stewed apples and overripe apricot. Fine yeasty characteristics, shying away from being bready. Very good showing!

We say it's heavier than a normal brut, grapes and buttery mile days shortbread cookies and Green grapes, minerals. I'm says it's heavier than her taste, Mike thinks it's bangin'

Nose of cheddar, sherry, and lemon. Palate shows big, frothy effervescence and hard, powerful acidity. Flavours of lemon and white grapefruit, crusty white bread, and hints of almond and olive. Dosage is just right: there’s enough sugar to make the wine rich and full-bodied, without being overly sweet. I preferred this to the Extra Brut, which had slightly less sugar.

Pw/chilled. Clear, very slight straw color. Nice tiny bubble stream. The is more on the clean, sharp, elegant side. Fruit vs. lees taste. Light, refreshing, delicious. Nothing off. $55

Identical to my previous note. Spicy and fruity, expressive, juicy and supple, well integrated dosage, rounded but with a firm mineral core. Well made.

Enjoyed at our Spring Grower Champagne Tasting, this was tasted next to a very nice Blanc de Noirs and performed admirably. Baked citrus and a whiff of brioche (wet flour?) on the nose. High-toned, complex flavors, invigorating acidity, the mouthfeel is persistently active--quite enjoyable.

Chef's Night Dinner Michelin Guide Netherlands (RAI, Amsterdam, NL): A blend of 40% Chardonnay, 40% Pinot Noir and 20% Pinot Meunier; 10% reserve wines, minimum four years sur lattes, 9 grams dosage, 12.5% alcohol. Bright pale white golden colour, very fine mousse; ripe fruit on the nose, with floral and mineral notes; rounded and supple palate, relaxed and flowing but with substance and seriousness; refreshing finish, good length. A rather flattering wine maybe, but also very moreish. Done very well.

Nose of citrus (grapefruit and lemon), ripe nectarine and apricot and some faint nuttiness. Palate full of delicious citrus and finishing with cream. Not bready, it's all yummy citrus. Damn good.

Interesting champagne. Not very creamy, which is usually a minus for me. It's unexpectedly chewy on the finish, and on the whole I found it quite enjoyable. Chewy character really mellowed out the second day, I think it was actually better than when we first popped it.

All in all this was a below average Champagne. Very little character and barely a brut. This was a flabby wine that deserved to be $15., not $35.

Very nicely balanced. The 60% red made for smooth tasting with the 40% Chardonnay bringing the elegance. Wonderful finish.
