I love older sparkling rose, including this 20-ish y.o. example. Slightly creamy strawberry and orange goes on and on and on. Very slight cork pop, minimal mousse when poured, and just tiny bubbles clinging to the glass, but still plenty of shared Valentine's Day burps over the 90 minutes it took my wife and I to finish this one.

Consistent with previous note. I made French 75's with the 1st 2 glasses, and they were better than drinking the champagne straight.
This wine performs below the level that any champagne should. Overall, high acid, little fruit, little minerality. Other than the high acid, it is relatively easy drinking, and nothing seriously wrong with it. It fails to deliver at champagne quality, and based on the taste I would not guess this as a rose. This is the 2nd time I bought Mumm champagne because it was being discounted ($30 this time) and was dissapointed despite the low price.

This is a rich, fruity and full-bodied rosé Champagne, displaying pleasant flavors of sweet and ripe red berries. It may not have the finesse of the finest rosé Champagnes, but it certainly gives you a lot of enjoyment now.

I have mixed feelings about this. It shows really nice restraint to the raspberry, mandarin orange, and herbs de Provence aromas. It's dry, crisp, and taut in the mouth, with a beam of acidity that shoots through red berry flavors. Spicy minerality etches the refreshing finish. It's perfectly fine, nice, even, but it didn't show the complexity or depth I expected given the aromatic elegance on the nose. Maybe it needed more time?

Mumm Dinner with H (Österlånggatan 17): (Disgorged in March of 2017, base year 2013, dosage 6 gr/l, 60%PN, 18%PM, 22%CH with 14% red wine) Lovely nose filled with red berries, minerals and lemon zest in a youthful way. Palate was showing lots of structure with cherry stones and a long acidic finish. This was a good rosé and should evolve nicely with some extra cellar time, but was very beautiful already. Split opinions around the table, but I thought it was a very good match with strawberry sorbet with fresh red grapefruit as a dessert! (Probably best with 2-5 years of extra cellar time)

Reddish pink color. Thick foamy mousse. Stewed red berries on the nose, red grapefruit on the palate. Not enough acidity to integrate excessive sugar.
Simple Rosé from well-known Champagne Maison G.H.Mumm with great history. Very basic and dull lacking the beauty and style you would expect from Champagne, but well justified by below the average price. However no complaints to the quality.
Easily outbeated by many Crémants available in the market.

Low on acidity and good fruitynes. Not very conplex, but above average . A good champagne. Good for beginners, and must be perfect to light fruity meals.. not a long aftertaste, but lots of suggary wine. Dry, but not an acidity wine.
Just love the acid. Berry and some tannins In the taste. Abselutely a blended red wine into the champagne. Must be a 5g dossage or something.

A beautiful Rose Champagne. Nose of strawberry, raspberry, sherbet, candy floss. Palate similar with stronger tart-berry connotations and some slight citrus potentially a light grapefruit. Delicious.

This came across as a bit disjointed. This had a very heavy chalk note which was oddly juxtaposed by a sweet cherry / raspberry flavors. In theory this doesn't sound bad, but there was no integration and it just came across as disparate flavors lying on top of each other. The mousse was also very weak.

Used to be true pink--now light mohagany--showed "ok" at first, but just took a dive into old, limp, leafy lifeless juice. This was probably in my cellar for 3-4 years. The previous bottles were pretty darn nice for the under $20 price I paid.

Pale, slightly reddish peach-orange color. Somewhat stuffy and slightly sweaty-pungent nose with aromas of unripe wild strawberries, some ripe cherry-driven red fruit, a little bit of reductive gunpowder smoke and a hint of leesy yeast character. The wine is dry and crisp on the palate with medium body and rather one-dimensional flavors of red-fruit driven notes of red cherries and wild strawberries, a little bit of chalky mineral bitterness and a hint of grapefruit. The mousse feels very ample, rather foamy and surprisingly persistent whereas the acidity is only medium to moderately high. The finish is dry, spicy and pretty light in intensity with flavors of chalky mineral bitterness, a little bit of red cherry, a hint of earthy character and a touch of pithy grapefruit.
Ehh. A simple, rather underwhelming and somewhat (unpleasantly) bitter rosé bubbly. My guess was a German rosé Sekt with rather short bottle-aging regime on the lees, based on how very little there was autolytic character here. Overall the wine is simple, straightforward and lacking in character and complexity. I really don't see why anyone would want to buy this kind of stuff when you can have much more impressive grower Champagnes at noticeably lower prices. Overpriced at 52,90€. Not recommended.

Excellent value, I wish I had bought more at $21.50. Very easy to drink, pleasant wine. A little bit of everything: fruity, a bit sweet, a bit of mineral touch and a bit of acidity on the finish. Happy wine.

Relatively bigger pearls. Salmon pink robe. Sweet nose of berries with slight orange peel note. On the palate, it exhibits strawberry, raspberry and apricot with undertone of brioche. A little on the sweeter side without much of the lemony acidity.

This was a gift and a bit of a nice surprise. Was not expecting much but as it warmed and opened it grew more round, luscious and likable. So though it may be a pedestrian and easily approachable bottle, it ends up being a charming little number. And the polar opposite of the Bouchard that followed.

The toast was light but the red wine in this gave it some nice hints of PN flavors. Just a little bitter- the bottle was a supermarket relic and may have affected it a little. Got it on sale for $10. A big flavor.

In Seville, with Irene matching Idiazabal and Roncal cheeses with bitscuits. Caramelized, elegant but quite soft champagne; It is not so much interesting as its pairs do but after all a GQP. Still one more bottle in the fridge.
