Worth the $7 and would buy again. Nice citrus fruit and mild acidity. Smooth drinkable, stand alone without food and dry enough to cook with. Not much different from Kim Crawford SB except at a better price.

Twisted open and enjoyed over a three day period, refrigerating the bottle in the interim. Light lemon color. Nice grapefruit citrus peel nose with a slight hint of white flowers. Fresh and crisp. Grapefruit is the predominate flavor. While lacking in depth, it retains a fresh and easy drinking quaffable personality. Not a wine to induce the writing of sonnets on fields of vines, but enjoyable served chilled on a warm summer day.

Looks like a sauv blanc - medium pale gold. Smells like a lighter bodied SB. Grapefruit and gooseberry dominate the nose followed by saline and honeysuckle. Light bodied, acidic, and dry. Palate wise, it falls apart for me. Very simple acidic lemon and grapefruit profile. I can just detect some stone fruits and honeysuckle if I really swish it around. Medium long mineral and tart lemon-zest finish that almost becomes too sour for my palate.
This wine avoids a lot of the cheap wine pitfalls, but this is not what I personally look for in a SB. Given the $7 price tag, it does punch above it's price point. For a few bucks more down the aisle, the 2020 Kim Crawford SB is much more up my alley and will continue to be my go to when I need an inexpensive SB.

Nice clean light yellow green color with grapefruit and pineapple bouquet. Clean and not as crisp as some SB's from NZ. Almost has a tinge of sweetness on the aftertaste. Really nice on a warm evening. Great buy for $ 7. Will buy again.

12.5% alcohol; imported by DC Flynt MW Domaines & Estates, Lake Charles, Louisiana; screw top; fast legs, very pale minerally yellow; nose of alcohol, grapefruit, stone fruit in the background, like freestone peaches, sweet plums; opened, kept in the fridge for 24 hours and tasted at approximately 8 degrees C; notes of citrus, like grapefruit & oranges, also stone fruit like peaches and plums, some lemon in the background, a bit of vanilla and honeysuckle nectar sprinkled in; traces of tropical fruit like passion fruit, guava, lychee; fruit forward flavors extend into the medium finish; so refreshing on a hot Florida late afternoon; serve with tasty hors d'oeuvres like a nut assortment or cheese selection

This wine is pale lemon in color with a high intensity of aroma. The nose consists of blackcurrant, grapefruit pith, grass, medicinal qualities, button mushroom, sulfur (not faulty), banana, bell pepper, fennel and dill. The wine is dry with high acidity, med body and a long finish. The bottle states ABV of 12.5%, but this is at least 13%. The palate is composed of blackcurrant, grass, stone, steeliness, bell pepper, eucalyptus, medicinal qualities, and liquorice. Overall, a very good wine that should be consumed now.

Inspired by a review of some of the Kirkland wines in the paper, we began a hunt for some of the more favorable ones in our local Costco. We had already attested to the quality and fabulous price of the very legit champagne. Unfortunately, out of all the wines in the article, we were only able to obtain the SB so far. The New Zealand offerings of this varietal generally offer up a distinct grapefruit/gooseberry profile, and the Ti Point is no exception - and that is okay. There is more here though, with a pleasant mouthfeel and a slight hint of a tropical sweetness to boot. Dulcie was so impressed she threw down for an entire case (without first notifying me). Not going to enter the entire case in the database as I would grow weary of writing 12 identical notes. I challenge anyone to provide a better value in this varietal. If only the Kirkland labels were not so dull and evocative of some industrial cleaning supplies.

Simple, unsubtle, NZ SB. Hey, it was 20 degrees out and dark with piled up snow. Grilled marinated chicken tenders on the deck. What more could we have wanted? Amazing QOR at $8.
This bottle was a total grapefruit bomb! I know a lot of sauv blanc are known for grapefruit notes. This was just way too much. And I love grapefruit. Just not in my wine this powerful. It's almost as if I'm just drinking grapefruit juice. I still drank it, but not a bottle I'll be buying again. I will wait for the next vintage to buy again.

Grassy and citrusy in its acidity. Not sure what I think. I guess if I had something greasy or buttery it would definitely do the trick. By itself it’s a bit harsh unless it’s hot and I’m thirsty.

Very pale off-white tone of cream with very low optical density: just light hints of colour with the very high, almost perfect specular reflectance of a mirror. Aromas are strong, with grapefruit, mango, pear, tart apple, and light grassy florals mixed with a hint of ripe banana. The palate is light and shows bracingly fresh acidity for a vibrant and juicy texture. Some hints of electric tension add interest. Flavours of intense fruits on the attack, with grapefruit and pear juice out front. Some baked apple and light tropical fruits linger below, adding some interest. Overall, intense flavours but not a lot of complexity (a bit of depth here, to be sure). The midpalate isn't hollow, but perhaps just flat- plenty of fruit still, but no real evolution of flavours, just more of the same profile. Finishes with some zesty grapefruit and lemon over grilled fruits (pineapple and apple) for medium length that has good intensity.
Overall an intense drink with some level of complexity, but the depth that is shown lies in the array of flavours that are there like striations in rock- a linear array of lines that don't cross or blend, but rather just a bit of complexity in an array of static layers. This is a value-driven wine, with fresh and fruity character that is easy to drink and fantastic alone or with food. Fresh and fun, this is a modern style of Sauvignon Blanc that screams New Zealand. A nice wine with excellent value.

Pale, light clear in color, almost clear. Full, forward & attractive nose of citrus notes of grapefruit, lemons/limes with overtones of lemongrass & gooseberries, some floral notes & a hint of minerals in the background. Light bodied with a good concentration of balanced & smooth textured, tangy, ripe fruit flavors of citrus of lemons/limes & white grapefruit, some lychee notes & minerals. Lingering crisp finish. Drinks quite well at present & has a good QPR.

I call this adult limeade. So vivacious and ingratiating. QPR is off the scale. Consistent from vintage to vintage. In previous vintages had this blind with group that rated it above SBs costing 4X. Another time, at a picnic with oenophiles and wine professionals, a bottle disappeared in a couple of minutes.

Not a subtle wine. Loads of citrus, especially lime, and some grassiness too. High acid that lasts through the finish, and can be felt in the throat. Not bad, but you really need to know what to expect. I wonder if this will mellow if left several months in the cellar. Though unbalanced, the lack of off-flavors is commendable given the price point.

2020 Kirkland Signature Sauvignon Blanc Ti Point (Marlborough) More sassy than grassy with aromas of gooseberry, lime and pear. A fairly classic kiwi Sauvignon Blanc with a double dose of lemon-lime for some happy citrus time. Definitely clean and green with just an ethereal fleeting fizz on the tongue. Fortunately, frisky and crispy often work better than moody and broody. This outstanding Alberta Costco bargain (just $11) can proudly share the value stage with the classic, unbeatably priced Costco hot dog ($1.50). Hmmm, they might just make a magical wine/food pairing too (but do go light on the ketchup).

Typical NZ Sauvignon Blanc, however this SB come at an excellent price, all the tropical fruit you expect from NZ SB, recommended for those who enjoy this style.
