Pineapple, mango skin, more lively from a fruit perspective than the 2018, but less mineral, and less perfume on the nose. In any case extremely well balanced and lovely.
That said prefer the 2018.

Best bottle so far, ready to drink right out of the bottle. Fresh matured gooseberries are dominating both in the nose and mouth. Perfect balance in this bottle.

67PM supper: Wanted to try this given the producer and vintage. A little sweeter than expected for a Kabinett even though the body was not as round and full as a Spatlese. A little brooding and shutdown at the moment despite being a very balanced wine.

When popped and poured, this was just not very good. Had an underripe quality to it that I often get with cheap, off-dry riesling. After a couple days sitting in the refrigerator though, it got much better. The underripe note is subdued, and the acid and tropical fruit flavors come through. Will likely benefit from a few years of aging.

Light & ethereal on both the nose & palate. Pale yellow in the glass with scents of hay/straw, lime, & green apple. Flavors of yellow apple, quince, green apple, & candied ginger. This is lovely...

Served blind from MG - I guessed Prüm, but spätlese quality, so intense, chalky, concentrated is this, pushing way above kabinett-level. Still very young, will blossom in 5 years or so. #Søllerød

Consistent with previous bottle. Lip smacking, delicious riesling with just the right balance of sweetness and citrusy, acidic tang. Paired perfectly with a coconut red thai shrimp curry. May need to grab a few more for the cellar.

Golden delicious flavour profile. Great kabinett sweetness with a great acidity-support. Lots of layers. This is not for long ageing in my book. Enjoy now
Increddible food friendly wine!

Bright, crisp, lovely white/yellow fruit, and so crushable. Not as cloying as the 2019 Wehlener next to it. I much preferred the energy and body of this one. Always a pleasure!

Beautiful light yellow-gold color, bit of spritz. Flinty citrus and stone fruits, with a touch of funk underneath. Imposing acidity gives this a very dry and clean feel, but my palate is looking for a shade more weight and sweetness. Apricot and apple undertones through the shortish finish. I don't know how much this is likely to improve, but it is pleasant enough now and will be interesting to follow over time. I slightly prefer the Wehlener Sonnenuhr at this stage.

Needs time, but exciting to drink now. Candied lemon, peach, and honeycrisp apple notes commingle, supported by ample minerality, savory hints and tingly acidity. Delicious and complex, yet a touch disjointed. Can't wait to see how brilliant this becomes in a few years.

JJ Prum - 2019 range tasting "every year is a new adventure" (ChinChin Sydney): Subtle aromatics, showing real delicacy - pear, lemon, vanilla spice and a mineral undertone. Thrilling acidity here, amplifying the pure fruit and bringing superb energy. Irresistibly delicious, with that acid line awakening the palate and delivering a focused, long finish. Really brought out the sweetness of the kingfish sashimi, a perfect match.

Medium straw color. Nose of white peach, some lemon/lime, honeysuckle, and some pronounced wet rock, mineral notes. Similar flavors on the palate with medium+ acid. Just barely a touch of sweetness with a mouthwatering finish. Enjoyed this slightly more at this point than the Prum kabinett, WS vineyard. Very nice.

Another excellent JJP offering from 2019. Pear, apple, lemon and a hint of honey nose - so very attractive. The palate is infused with grapefruit, peach, between light and middle weight with a long long tart finish. Just a hint of sweetness amplified by the deep tart fruit, among the less sweet of '19s Kabinetts that I've tried so far. Really good acidity and balance, not at all off putting. I don't see the searing acid that others have mentioned (say, compared to '19 Falkensteins). Looking forward to comparing this to the Willi Schaefer GH Kabi.
I wanted something to pair with spicy Asian food, so this fit the bill for something that'd be damn tasty on a weeknight.
Poured the first few glases at cellar temp, but for these ultra young Prums that don't have too much going on, I prefer them cold, like nearly fresh out the fridge cold.
It's young, it's primary, it's laser acidic, and it's delicious. Brings back memories of initial tastings of the 15 and 18. In terms of sheer enjoyment at this all too young stage, I prefer this over the Wehlener Kab, but not like we should be drinking any of these anyway.

Opened with the BB and WS Kabi. This is a step up in intensity, less open, floral with jasmine tea notes and an earthy intensity to the finish. Quite shy now.

Now this is just what I am looking for in a German wine to accompany a meal, in this case Thai mixed shellfish in mushroom garlic sauce. It’s bright, energetic and just on the borderline of sweet. Lots of green grape and lime, juicy and refreshing with a hint of savory slate. At the Kabinett level, younger may be better if you want to wash down your dinner with it.

Really zipping acidity out of the gate. Graacher always strikes me as having a higher-toned, more citrus-zip acidity than say, Wehlener, and it's obvious here. Really screaming. Brisk, edgy green apple and peach and uber freshness. Still so young to say anything other than it seems to have everything in the right place. It's tasty now if you like to live on the edge.

more acidic and herbaceous in character that wehlen. like crunchy granny smith apples. less complex too, but way too primary to make any sort of judgement.

Peaches and apricots all day with a hint of lemon. Light and juicy, seems to have a mineral streak that is buried under the primary fruit. Delicious and so easy to drink

Peaches, Bosc pear, fresh-cut herbs, and smoke. Lithe, yet focused on the palate, with clean orchard fruit notes, wet slate, and bright acidity. Great juice, Prüm never disappoints.

Quite a bit of seepage from the capsule, I Coravined a sample on night one (it was fine) then went ahead and pulled the cork on night 2.
Healthy nose of petrol and slate. Guava and star fruit, and to the sweeter end of kabinett. Rather exotic though and certainly complex for the price
