Lemon colour, plentiful bead. Very fresh apple-nectarine aroma. Big mouthfilling mousse. Creamy, a hint of coconut. Nice classic taste otherwise, no signs of age. Vigorous; probably has many years' life ahead. [Cork + cage; 12.5% abv; Nickolls and Perks, -10% @ £30]
6/10 - Was very much looking forward to drinking this wine after it's strong showing at the winery. However, the champagne failed to yield the nice toasted bread and relatively complex aromas and flavours I had remembered it for. Not sure what happened. Still some grapefruit and cream (as with last time) but acidity was not as smooth or as subtle as I remembered it to me. An ok wine but was disappointed after a previously strong showing.

8/10 - Nice toasted bread / rice (wife says Genmaicha-like) aromas with grapefruit and cream. Fine bubbles and subtle / smooth acidity, though some may prefer something with a little more bite. Nice (but not exactly super long) finish. Given the crazy prices some other vintage champagnes are going at, this makes decent QPR in comparison Tasted at winery post tour in Reims

ICCCW wine class (Jade Palace Forum): Lots of fresh bread rolls and soft white bread. Yeasty. Sweet pomelos and ripe grapefruits.

I expected much more from vintage champagne, although it is still decent and nice to drink.
