med light body . 14% Alcohol heavy tannin on first opening. Tasted over a few days fruit held up and tannins mellowed leading me to recommend leaving it in the cellar for several years. Notes over the course of lasting: Medium ruby color Nose- New oak, spearmint, “red jolly rancher”, cherry, violet, burnt marshmallow Palate- red fruit, cocoa, spice, hints of meat( in a good way) very tannic on finish Over all I think this will be in the low 90’s with age but currently it is too young in it’s current form I’d give ithigh 80’s

Very tight upon opening; almost completely closed down. 2nd day was much better with big flavors of old vines and some notes of possibly Cinsault or something very floral and herbaceous, along with blueberry and boysenberry. Must decant this wine and drink within the next 4 to 5 years.

Beautiful perfume notes of violets and roses with dried cherry and fig notes in the background. Tannins are medium-plus with a medium grit character. Acidity is medium plus with a slight sharp character. Body is medium. Overall, this is a pleasant wine.

There's a latent sanguine note that kept this feeling linear. Seemed like there was more to show, but as is a nice bottle with notes of ripe blackberry, roasted tomato and beef blood. Tannins emerge on the medium finish.

Beautiful nose and very smooth wine. Red cherries with a touch of sweet spices. But I don’t think this wine has any aging potential due to the lack of structure and depth.

Didn’t dig this as much as the 2018. Less fruit concentration; more austere. Still showing very young with its foursquare tannins, but I fear there isn’t enough stuffing behind those for it to amount to much.

Not very pleasant at the moment, unbalanced and disjointed and quite a lot of heat on back palate. Had 2018 recently and liked that a lot so hopefully this just needs time to come together. Not opening any bottles for 3+ years.

Decanted 2 Hours. Upon decanting showed a beautiful fragrant full plum aroma w/rich burgundy color. Initial pour presented with full burgundy style nose. Flavor or full cherries, red licorice & soft lead pencil w/excellent legs. Flavor moved to big ripe plus w/outstanding finish. Very nice w/ Appetizer: Caprese / Entrée: Passata w/Ricotta & Italian sausage. Most enjoyable wine!

Orange peel, star anise, allspice, red cherries, red raspberries, smoke and cedar on the nose. Smells like new French oak; but well integrated with the red fruits. The palate is pretty different. It's centered around the citrus, adding lemon peel to the orange peel from the nose. The red fruit notes and the oak notes play nicely in the background. Medium + intensity of both flavors and aromas. Everything on this feels rounded and balanced.
Medium body with medium + lingering tannin. Nice long finish that's helped by the tannins too. Drink now with a longer decant, or hold 2-5 more years.

Had another bottle at Amada in AC for $75, solid red, tannic and earthy, ok fruit but thought the finish was short or as my wife says-the ine was flat, drank with Spanish tapas with lots of garlic, probably won't drink again.

I didn't read the comments here before popping the cork and pouring from the bottle. Rustic, brambly and a bit tough on the buds initially. I was under dr. orders not to drink (vertigo) so I corked it after a glass. Sat for two days, then emerged as a lovely wine! Black fruits, blueberry, earth. Smooth. Fine grained tannins. Long finish.

First, thanks to many here who warned that this wine is young and needs either time in the cellar or time in the decanter. To the many who popped, poured and gave it mediocre ratings - I think you missed a trick by a wide margin. On the other hand if you are looking for a fruit bomb, look elsewhere now or 10 years from now - its not heading there.
OK, had this with Grilled/smoked rack of lamb & black bean salad over basmati race. Decanted immediately. Nosed but did not touch for > 90 minutes, then continued enjoying through the evening. Both of us tasted and smelled the same things, mostly.
Out of the bottle, this initially seems like a new-world ish wine, with forward red fruit. By the end of the evening it had pivoted to much more earth, balance, dark fruit, tar/tobacco, pepper and if Spain has garrigue, something like it.
After several hours even the tannins were fine grained. No, not mature, but fine grained and quite drinkable.
I really like this wine, and everything tells me i will like it much more in a few years and more still in 10. Maybe i rated it with that i mind, it might not be 93 as of today (well, yesterday), but its quite a delicious, complex and serious wine.

This requires time or a lot of air. When opened it was very, if not very very shy both on the nose as the palate but after 3-4 hours in a decanter it happens.
Dark red fruit, good acidity and reallt fine, fine tanins.
If you want to try it out today, decant it!!!! Atleast 4 hours ago. If not, wait 5 years.

Earthy, brambly fruit with hints of tar and pine. Perfect extraction, fruit is delicate, nuanced with density and finessed tannin. Dark chocolate and nutmeg on the long finish. Serviceable now but a decade or more is warranted.

This is a fine, young Tempranillio - dark fruit, good tannins and very much to my liking. Needs time in the bottle to show it's best, but I will buy more.

This was a fantastic value play on a list that had some overprice gems. Not over oaked and paired with most items on the table.

Very dark and dense, though fully drinkable right away. Herbal blackberry juice, with some green notes that add an element of freshness.
