Great value. Excellent for general purpose occasions. I prefer these to the ultra-dry champagnes that get put out by some of the more prestigious and more expensive labels. I think it was a little more open 1-2 years ago

Drank a small pour at a tasting. I'm a Roederer fan and this seemed a good step up from their NV's. Its still a bit tight, although there is ripe strawberry and yeast on the palate.

Effectively a step up from the NV with was a fine Provence style rose ( maybe a touch richer) with a lively set of bubbles. Bright and energetic, soft fruit, not confectionary at all ( Yey!) and a well balanced feel to it. Good wine and an easy 91

Still young and finding its feet. Having said this, it is a wine that is shy, awkward and gangly and one that does not seem to hang together well. Not a champagne to love but one to drink and forget. Better with some canapés. Not one of the better efforts from the House.
Drink in 3 years to 2030.

Very nice with evening sushi. Nose of roses, and cranberry. Palate of young strawberries, chalk minerals and high acid. Well integrated champagne that disappeared from glass!

Varm i stilen, rund och elegant. Jag tycker att det fattas lite syra och tycker att det här är en ganska svag årgång av Roederer Rosé. 2012-2013-2014 var alla bättre, liksom förstås 2008!

Pale pink salmon in color & a steady mousse. Full, forward & attractive nose of ripe fruit aromas of strawberries, raspberries & citrus notes with lovely floral & yeasty notes, stony & minerals undertones in the background. Medium light bodied with a good concentration of well balanced & smooth textured, zesty, ripe fruit flavors of sweet strawberries, raspberries and citrus with some yeastiness, spices & minerals. Lingering crisp finish. Drinks quite well at present but may benefit from an additional year or two of further aging. It is a lovely Rose with a good QPR in light of its higher priced counterparts.

Overall: lovely, round champagne that is expensive but a nice splurge as a change of pace.
Appearance: really pretty peachy rose color, fine bubbles and mousse
Nose: classic champagne nose with the addition of subtle red fruit; it’s rose champagne, consistent with what you might expect; there is an anise note that is pretty pronounced at times
Palate: Very complex. Medium to medium-high acid. Raspberry, lemon, confectionary notes like pastries. It’s quite nice
Finish: round and clean, very moreish, seems like they dosed this just perfectly to clean up any bitterness without overdoing it

It's interesting how the scores for this are all over the place. In my opinion, this is a well made bottle that is terrific value for the money (about $75 in NYC) but, unsurprisingly, does not rise to the level of an elite wine. Previous reviewers do a great job describing: medium copper, salmon color, probably just half a shade lighter than I was expecting. Mousse is still very present of course. Nose has medium complexity at this point with lots of citrusy notes going on - blood orange, tangerine, some unripe strawberries. Acidity was medium/high - which leads me to believe this can actually put on weight and will be a bit better in the next, say, five years. Likely made with skin contact given levels of acidity, so still finding its legs a bit. Served to a large group with very good feedback generally.

Tasted at a charity tasting event sponsored by a large NJ retailer. Pretty, pale pink. Effusive nose and palate. Charming with some bread accents along with a melange of citrus (tangerine, mandarin, blood orange) some cranberry and wild strawberry. Nice mousse, good length on the finish. Strong mineral backbone. I liked this a lot.

At charity tasting…not being the biggest fan of Rose Champ, love few and not fond of many others…this fell in the latter for me. Good, but almost wished it was a still wine. Strong and potent fizz, too much for me to truly sip and enjoy. This was my oddball palate reaction to many Rose Champs tonight, or maybe just not having enough time, so please try for yourself.

Hôtel de tourrel at saint Rémy de Provence. Nice light rose color. Nose of pamplemousse, citrus, wet stones, and a light touch of cream. Med acidity, med body, med alcohol, Med flavor intensity, med finish. Very ample mouth, nice creaminess, not overly acidic so I think this is already good to drink. Nice orange, pamplemousse, mandarine, and citrus. Lingering fruit and salinity.

Casual champagnes: Signature Roederer nose with the strong reduction note that made it easy to guess. Warm fruit that made me guess 2012, started off light but put on weight with air. Fans of the generous house style will like this but preferred the 2013 I had earlier this year which had greater clarity and depth.

Aroma of bread and vanilla. Medium body, dry but with a hint of fruity sweetness with notes of strawberry and kiwi. A nice citrusy acidity. Tart, citrus and green apple finish. Very well balanced.

Røde bær, et lite hint av gjær. Nesten rips og bringebærdrops i munnen. Veldig delikate, lette bobler. Sitter veldig lenge i munnen, med frisk, deilig syre og bær. Nydelig match til grillet hummer.

Solemn new vintage of Roederer’s rosé. Elegant sparkling salmon, small vivid bubbles, in appearance. Nose brings mix of red and dark berries - cassis, cherries, forest strawberries, hints of lime. Palate is medium+-bodied, super elegant, fresh, bone-dry, leaning on the red-berry side, lively acidity, high salinity, subtile fresh fruit as per nose. Tannic-dry, saline long finish.

Half bottle. A beautifully crafted Champagne. Fully fruity aromas and flavours with lots of balancing minerally freshness, excellent complexity (lemon, tangerine, peach, strawberry, red cherry, blueberry), supple but energetic and dry, appetising, zesty finish. A cracking rosé.

Half bottle. Pale salmon colour; subtly expressive nose, candied fruit, peach, strawberry, flowers and citrus, delicately yeasty, spicy depth; elegant and silky palate, gentle mousse, seamless and flowing but with attractive bitters providing grip; very good resonance and excellent length. A finely woven, layered wine, with considerable finesse.

New Years Day: Vrai Champagne, Seventh Annual Edition (Brad & Marcia's Place, St. Paul, MN): Same bottle as galewskj. I love the Roederer style and this was right there stylistically to the '14 which has a lot of chalk and minerality right now, apple, red berries and fairly yeasty. A bit taught at the moment, give this a couple years to shine. 92(+)pts.
