Shows true Chablis typicaty with chalk/stone aromas alongside green apple, citrus, touch of leesy yeast. Nice acid profile, good carry and good finish. Day 2 the fruit became riper and had a touch of tropical/melon. Overall a good Chablis that I'm happy to drink but there is better for your money out there.

Simple and tasty, with notes of Jonathan apple, lemon, and wet stone commingling throughout. A bit riper than expected, with fleeting acidity. more of a crowd pleaser.

Light golden in color. Full, forward & aromatic nose of ripe fruit aromas of lemons/limes, grapefruit & pears with mineral/flinty overtones, some floral notes & chalky/stony. Medium bodied with a good concentration of well balanced & smooth textured, ripe citrus flavors of lemons/limes, grapefruit & green apples, chalky, stony & minerals. Lingering crisp finish. Drinks quite well at present but has potential for further development with additional aging.

From that piece of land the expectation is usually very high - frankly, this wine is still far from that. Both nose and mouth are not aligned with what Chardonnay should pull out. Not sure if waiting few years the situation may improve.

As someone who has had a lot of Chablis I can confidently say this wine gets low balled because it doesn’t have a church on the label and a yellow wax top. This wine is absolutely electric. So much tension and power for a village level Chablis. Pure and focused… Wow.

Pulled the cork 45 minutes before dinner of pasta carbonara. Initially tart, lemon, pear, apple and big citrus flavors. Drank over the next 90 minutes. Became more complex with less tart citrus notes at the end. Will decant my next bottle an hour. Potential here.

Light green. Modest nose of green apple, some lemon, spice and minerals. Medium fresh with decent fruit. Lacking the extra freshness. Some spice in finish. Medium lenght. An ok everyday Chablis. A bit disappointing from this producer.

Lemon curd and seashells on the nose. Stone fruit and seashell on the palate with a mineral finish.
Good but not spectacular acidity. This full-bodied wines comes off as a bit fat. Does not have the electric structure I crave. However, great minerality and lovely fruit.

tasted at the domaine; 10% neutral wood; 90% stainless; more citrus and stone than the petit chablis; fresh and vibrant with good concentration and depth for the level; good value

Auge: Klar und hell. Leichter goldener Schimmer. Nase: Leichte Intensität. Honigmelone mit Zitrusfrüchten. Leichte Butternoten. Mund: Frische.

Light gold with a hint of green in the glass. Oyster shell, green apple, white flowers and a touch of flint waft up on the delicate bouquet. The palate is typically racy but textured with richer stone fruits, pastry, honey and a saline note emerging before a good finish that's balanced, crisp and mouthwatering. The oak barely perceptible at this stage. Still quite youthful. Drink anytime over the next 5-7 years. Another well made if not particularly exciting bottling from Fevre.

Pale green tinge, with earthy notes and a hint of citrus on the nose. On the palate, a medium-full body that coats the mouth; some bright acidity, with citrus and minerals. A very well rounded wine.

Medium yellow in color, this Chablis has beautiful hints of citrus, lemon, and green apple. Immediately clean on the palate with reaffirming lemon and slight hints of pear and lavender. This strikes me as having a relatively straightforward, if not simple flavor profile but what it does, it does well. A crisp clean example of Chardonnay.

Bright and fresh. Plenty of lemon fruit and a suggestion of lime leaf. It has mineral tension and good presence on the palate. It finishes with excellent cut.

I like 2020 but for me I would much rather pay the same price for Samuel Billaud’s Chablis which has more minerality and character

Apple and pear, plus the mineral salinity you expect from this producer. Was wishing for just a tiny bit more acidity.
Maybe I didn't give it enough of a chance because the last glass was the best one.

Too much oak, too little freshness for a Chablis. The acidity does not translate to the palate. Apart from that, a decent wine.

French white wine from Chablis: Chardonnay. 12,5 % alcohol.
Pale golden/grayish color.
Ripe aromas of pear and vanilla ice cream, white flowers and minerals. Powerful flavors of ripe pears, white flowers, yogurt, grapefruit and minerals.
Dry. Medium- body. Medium acidity. Somewhat unbalanced. Some structure. Low complexity.
Medium finish with grapefruit and pear.
A very simple but tasty Chablis. Best served fridge cold. Good with food and okay on its own. 84/100
