Wow, is this good. Expressive Riesling nose from the first minute, full of fruit with a hint of petrol, on the palate good balance between acidity and sweetness, good depth and long finish.
Textbook Kabinett in a good spot now, for sure, it will age nicely but there is also no reason not to drink it now. A big step up compared to the Brauneberger Riesling J trocken, we had at the same evening.

Bottled under screwcap, this wine fully expels its mild reductive notes within five minutes of opening, at which time it unfurls a beautiful aromatic array of blood oranges, green apples, white peaches, honey, crushed rocks and mint. Light-to-medium-bodied, seamlessly alcoholic (8.0%) and with plentiful lively acids to balance the sweetness, it delivers flavors congruent with the aromas, has good mid-palate density and concludes with a lengthy, energetic finish. This is a terrific Riesling that will have substantial longevity. Drink now-2036.

Does exactly what you'd expect: crisp, bright, attractive fruit on the nose, with a hint of cream; ripe and mouthwatering pineapple on the attack, and tart, tangy lime on the long, stony, saline finish. Glug, glug...

Beautiful, clear light yellow-gold color, like liquid crystal. Crisp, fresh, fruity aroma, a combination of citrus, Honeycrisp apple, peach, and bubblegum. The flavor is citrusy and acidic, while also medium-sweet, full of fresh fruit and hints of Bit-o-Honey. It is mouth-watering, silky, and luscious. Delicious.

Drank a few weeks ago and forgot to put in here so memory is a little hazy but what I mainly remember is that this was quite flinty on the nose with some citrus notes coming out, sweetness level seemed appropriate for a Kabinett, moderate finish, nice acidity, very good for the price if you can find it

Peach, citrus and floral notes with bright acidity. There was a touch of unfermented grape notes that floated out the glass. Personally not what I expected.

Gesamturteil: Qualitativ hochwertiger Wein, aromatisch vielseitig. Prägnantes Säuregerüst ist in den ersten Sekunden sehr präsent, lässt dann aber nach, so dass die vielseitige Aromatik schön zur Geltung kommt.

Marzipan, almond, ripe green apple and lemon. Slightly closed - it's tight and youthful, really vertical: a searing sharpness which is bracing and enjoyable. A touch of saltiness. Really drinkable.

Pale straw with a slight green tint. Smelled a little petrol at first that gave way to white flowers, wet stone, lime, and sour green apple, with the taste leaning more toward the fruit. Good balance of sweetness and acidity, fairly long and fruity finish.

Riesling from Braunberger Jufer (Grosse Lage), vinified in stainless steel, 8% vol.
Nice Riesling nose with a mineral touch, on the palate very clean, superb interaction of acidity and sweetness, great mouthfeel and medium+ length.
Incredibly good in its youth, but also with good ageing potential, I will drink the first case soon and wait with the second to have some bottles left when it gets mature. Superb price to quality relation.

Probably the bargain of the year, this Kabinett delivers everything you want in a classic Mosel style. Bouquet with Lemon, Yuzu and spicy schist notes. On the palate its fruit driven with a slight sweetness but the acidity and salinity keep this so light on its feet. Definitiv a wine, where you don't get tired off after the first glass. Highly recommended, with quite some ageing potential.

Nose: Clean and fresh white and yellow fruit with depth.
Palate: Fresh and elegant, white and yellow fruit, ripe gooseberry, ripe lemon, lovely balanced, charming sweetness countered by excellent ripe and natural acid, makes it very animating not tiring to drink, lasting finish. Lovely sweet Kabi, already so nice to drink and will last for many many years.
2021 is imo a very strong vintage at the Moselle, especially the sweet wines from producers like Fritz Haag. Outstanding P/Q ratio.

Impressions from "Perspektive Wein" fair (Wagenhallen, Stuttgart): Glass: Universal *** brief notes for my own memory from tasting sip. No rating *** Needs time to settle down. Give it 3-5 years. Currently a bit nervous. But for sure with a bright future ahead. 88-89++

Pale straw color, lightly going into a more yellow tone. Light citrus and peach on the nose with hints of minerality. Feels very dry for mosel kabinett with only small hints of sugar and a nice acidity.
Nice daily drinker.

Drak den med Karoline. Godt sødt glas. Kunne godt trække lidt mere syre.
