Always pays to put a bottle or three of these away for a bit. Tropical fruits, white pepper, mineral. Softer fruits, but still good acidity. Absolutely delicious. Drinks better than the release year.

First time trying a Bedrock wine, so expectations were high. Fortunately, they were easily met.
Basically no nose. The mouthfeel is sharp and almost crystalline, with light strawberries, melon, grapefruit, acidity, and a bit of salt on the palate. Lots of flavor as well, with the midpalate exceeding the initial taste in intensity. Very easy to drink as well.

Drunk after an inexpensive Provençal rose, this was considerably more intense, with a richer mouthfeel, and brighter acids. Big boned, raspberry fruit, dry and direct, with length and presence. An outstanding rose.

Pale orange-y salmon. Fruity nose with strawberries, watermelon, crushed raspberries, touch of flint, and little eucalyptus. Palate is fresh and with almost creamy mouthfeel, Slightly astringent with underripe strawberries, raspberry seeds, and some peppery spiciness. This is an annual case purchase and 2022 does not disappoint, even though I think I might have preferred 2021 more. Still great stuff, drink with reckless abandon.

Best bottle yet! Drank some late last week and then about a week later after it sat in the refrigerator. I tasted better on the second try with a full more "round" feel in the mouth. The expected purity and fruit were true to form. Very enjoyable.
Quite nice - beautiful nose - floral but not cloying - has depth. Medium weight on palate but decent persistence - great acidity and a long finish. Joyful

Simply a lovely rose. Served with a homemade turkey meat chili this worked beautifully. Bright, crisp fruit with tingling acidity. The fruit feels full yet the acidity is high enough to carry it effortlessly over your palate to the crisp finish. Really hard to put the glass down and not take another sip. Would buy again.

Label does not say "old vine". Bottle a reasonable 1197g. Screw cap. Moderately intense aromas of citrus pith...this bottle is too cold at the moment. Dry, with elevated zesty, almost spicy acidity, medium-bodied, 13.5% abv. Some sweet berry fruit, a lot of salinity, and a buzzing, Tempier-like texture that I'm sure they were shooting for. I need to let this warm up.

Loads of fruit here, with notes of watermelon, cherry, and strawberry coalescing throughout. Just enough acid to keep it moving, and while a tad simple, this is a nice and luscious rose that paired well with a NY Strip.

This was a pleasant weekday Rose (perhaps a little pricey for that, but such wines are getting more expensive). It did not rise to the level of a Domaine Tempier for me (it is an "Ode to Lulu"). Not enough of the depth and residual flavors that I get from one of those, which, keeping in mind, cost twice as much as this bottle. However, this was refreshing and tasted good. I would not hesitate to buy it and will try another bottle someday.

After now having a few of these out of a case, I can comfortably say that while this is good, it definitely falls short of the superlative '21. This is just a little bigger-boned but there's a touch of back-end warmth if you're not careful. Fresh and tasty out of the fridge though.

PnP into Grassl Liberte stems. True to form - crisp, refreshing red fruits out of the gate, with some peach on the nose. This performed better for me cooler; as it warmed up over the course of an hour or so, the alcohol started to feel a little spiky.

From 3L BiB: fine tension savory character with pretty underlying red fruit and melon flavors. Racy, mouthwatering, good length. Fine ratio of freshness to satisfying depth. Glad the Bedrock team released Lulu in bag-in-box. Certainly has to decrease the carbon footprint. Re-buy? Well, I’ll confess to having bought a bunch and feel vindicated. Very good indeed.
Delightful radiant translucent color, nose has raspberry, flint & citrus, much flavor and mouth feel with citrus, flint and grape blend rather than fruit. Great representative of American grown rose of the Southern Rhône style.

Complex, yet fresh and fruit-forward. Strawberry and watermelon, but also showing flashes of terpene and feral funk. Well balanced light to mid weight, good weight with a bit of creaminess in the middle, stone fruits add to the profile, leaning Provence in style, finishes long, clears the palate nicely.

This beauty is a perennial favorite that offers superb QPR! It has a dry, very refreshing, and delicious fresh strawberry, raspberry, white peach, citrus zest and subtle spice character with a very satisfying dried herb/crushed gravel tinged finish that offers some savory notes.
It’s a blend of a blend 60% Mourvedre, 35% Grenache, and 5% Syrah sourced from vines averaging 60 years old.

Agree, super good. Strawberry, peach. Fleshy fruits with a kiss of California. My mother-in-law (who has a sneakily solid palate) took a sip and said, oh this is quite refreshing. Solid mineral dry finish.

Pale salmon rose in color. Full, fragrant & attractive nose of ripe fruit aromas of fresh strawberries, cherries & citrus notes with overtones of floral & spice notes, stone fruits & a crush of minerals in the background. Light bodied with a very good concentration of well balanced & smooth textured, ripe fruit flavors of fresh strawberries, cherries & tart cranberries with spices & minerals. Lingering crisp finish. Drinks quite well at present although it may develop with another year of additional aging. A delightful rose made from vines planted in 1922. Composed of 55% old vine Mataro (Mourvèdre) and 45% old vine Grenache.

Thought a pulled a 2021 bottle of Lulu, but noticed after opening this was the 2022.
Pretty medium orange-pink color. Nose of tart peaches, strawberries, a bit of cream, and flowers. This Lulu bites back! The first thing I noticed was an astringent bite on the mineral heavy finish. Light bodied, high acidity, mineral heavy, with laser-like focus. Palate of tart peachs, under-ripe strawberries, orange zest, and a hint of candied tropical fruits. The the finish comes in with a sharp bite. A long palate cleansing finish of saline, limestone, flower petals, peach pits, underripe stonefruits, and a touch of black tea.
This was a happy mistake. I fear for everyone who bought the 3L boxes of this, it's going to disappear fast!
