Dark red color, some maturity. Nice warm ripe scent of red berries, blood orange, charcuterie and grape. Grumpy, harsh and dry mature character. Elements of stable and fat. Elegant and quite long.

Spettacolare vino! Opened 2 bottles of 2007 to pair with linguine in clams dish during Christmas Eve dinner of 7 fishes. Wasn't sure what red wine would pair with this dish but Barbaresco was spot on. Would like to buy more but current vintage approaches $100.

Nice complex nose with some evolution. Elegant and accessible with food. Good fruit and acidity to balance the fine but still unresolved tannin. Could have done with more time in the bottle. Should evolve really well another 10-15 years.

Beautiful red fruit and forest floor nose. Juicy raspberry, cranberry fruits on the palate with sufficient balanced acidity and soft tannins. Medium length finish.

After decanting a a very classic and complex nose - tea leaves, spices, chocolate. Long and stringent taste - raspy tannins still there. Dark fruits balance the acidity. A very decent Barbaresco.

A balanced wine with all that a modern barbaresco should have but in the right proportions Flowers, fruits and spices; tannins holding it up without without dominating it, volume and freshness. A very good wine sadly without mystique

Popped and poured.Quite complex nose. Roses, sweet liquor and berries. a small funky after taste and more tannins for each glass. Should probably have decanted this bottle for an hour or so. So far the most expensive pizza wine I have tasted. ;-/

Plummy, very ripe, smooth, stylish, complex, well made. Fading by the second day. Very good, not great. Drink up, won't improve, but will last another 8 years or so.

Restrained nose, and by this stage far too bitter tannins. The fruit cannot balance it. A disappointment, but it was probably way too early to open it. Let it cellar a couple of years more.

Brick ruby color. Open nose, with a slight alcohol lift. Dark fruit profile - blackberry, roast coffee beans. Fine but bitter tannins and good length. Well made but not exciting.

Opened and poured after 1/2 hr. at the beginning floreal - violet, rose - and red berries, mainly raspberry, than sweet spicies, clove, star anise, mint. After 1 hr some dark berries are coming out. A lot of pretty fine tannins and good acidity. Not as big as the other Rivetti Barbaresco. And definitely too young. Clean medium long finish.

Dark mauve in color, transparent. Some floral perfume and dark cherries. Medium weight on the palate and quite fresh on entry. Chalky tannins envelope the mid palate and dissipate as the flavours of black tea, cherry and some earthy mushrooms linger on a very long finish. Still young and has plenty of structure and flavour, will develop nicely.

Nose of sweet fruit with some lavender and blueberry candy. On the palate, this is a big boy! Broad shoulders and what it is lacking in finesse, it makes up in power. Red fruit with a nice little floral component with bone drying tannins. Nothing traditional about this Barbaresco, but it's a good wine. Hold 5-10 years minimum!

Brick red with some brownish rim. Great barbaresco, though still young. Leather, smoke, cherry, black currant and some cellar. Very structured, but drinkable. Great balance and very long finish with a velvety meaty feel. Try in five years.

Beautiful garnet color indicating age. Aromas of Floral and red fruit, high in acidity, tannin, and well structured.
Will develop beautifully in bottle for another decade.

Quite Tannic & the structure is more muscular than expected, fruits fade away quickly in mid-palate.

Corked! Not terribly so at first but progressively got worse. You could tell there was something good underneath though...

"Open Cellar" at Wine Route Tel Aviv (Wine Route Tel Aviv): Excellent on the nose – perfumed and red fruit. Medium bodied, still very tannic. A few more years of cellaring will help (67$).
