If you have any recommendations for particularly high qualty producers, I would be interested to know. I love Austrian wines in general and we get a lot of Kracher's sweet wines from Burgenland here.     5/20/2023 5:39:00 PM - Hi Weinheber. I make it to Austria every third year, so yes! I have enjoyed many a terrific Riesling from Wachau. They are taut but carry a racy backbone of acidity that pairs so well with the local fare, no? Love their salty like finish, too. I am heading there next year, so if you come across anything special please let me know.

    5/20/2023 8:09:00 AM - Hello Weinheber. I've had the pleasure of drinking a few rieslings from Austria though not from Wachau. Will have to check that out as I'm always on the lookout for other regions. I've had a Trockenbeerenauslese from Carnuntum many years ago and it blew me away. Cheers!

I also love the Grüner Veltliner from the region! Both from Pichler are among my favorites. Thanks!
