Litigators' Wine Dinner (Summer Pavilion, Ritz Carlton, Singapore): A pretty nice village - this was drinking well young. The nose had a nice melange of red cherry, earth, stony mineral and a touch of florals. Very nice - subtle and masculine. The palate had a nice shape to it - juicy and pure, with cherries seasoned with mineral and a bit of spice, all playing against an earthy backdrop. The finish was still fresh and grippy, with fine tannins and citrussy acidity adding a nice length to it. A nice village.

Faiveley tasting (Hermitage Wine Bar): Bright-ruby. Aromas of flowers and red-fruits on the nose. This definitely has more structure, body and weight than the Mercurey. Earth & cherries on the palate, delivered in a silky package with medium length. Quite a stylish wine for a village.

Domaine Faiveley Tutored Tasting (Peach Garden OCBC Centre): Appearance is clear, pale intensity, ruby colour. Legs. Nose is clean, light intensity, with aromas of oak and red fruit. Youthful. On the palate, dry, high acidity, medium alcohol, medium tannins, medium body. Medium+ flavor intensity, with flavours of red cherry and strawberry. Medium+ finish. Good quality. Reasonably nice Village wine. Drink now, and enjoy over the next 5 years.
