Opened and decanted 30-min ahead of mixed grill leftovers and potatoes. Dark purple color. Nose brings fresh potpourri, purple violets, grape compote, forest floor, campfire, and a metallic mineral note. The palate is medium, square, and compact, bringing a hard core of blueberries, plums, and blackberries accentuated by red cherries and raspberries, concluding with black tea, beef stew, green pepper, and crushed gravel into a tannic finish. This has loads of potential but is still primary even after 3+hours in the decanter. Drink 2025-2035. Technical score: 92. Enjoyment score: 90.

Bright purple red opaque at core accurately foretells the flavor density which is centered on exuberant fresh juicy red and black fruit melange with signatures of a high proportion carbonic maceration Beaujolais on firm minerality and tannins.

Delicate smoke, game, briny mineral, floral aromas. It is juicy, relatively bright palate with savoriness in the back of the mouth, lots of barbecue, metal, a bit of herbal green depth to it - tannins are present, slightly understated as here the acidity shines more. It is still young but not a mistake to open one now.
