Wow. Nice juicy syrah. Huge fruity nose. Plum, overripe blackberry. Long peppery finish. Last bottle from a temperature controlled cellar at a grocery store in Enumclaw Washington at a discount no less. What a score! Fantastic wine.

On the nose, big, heavy, and plodding dark fruit. Lighter on the palate, and vastly more nimble. Nice acid. Firm tannins. Average mouthfeel and finish. I have a couple more bottles, but seems pretty peak now, will probably subside from here.

4th Saturday Brown Bagger (R&D's): Inky color. Coffee, currants, roasted game and florals. Black fruit and spice on the palate. Nicely balanced. Guessed domestic Syrah.

Purchased and held for 2.5 years. Dark purple, almost explosive nose even on Day 2. Well integrated with a good blend of fruit and terroir. Medium finish and enjoyed on a cool sunny spring afternoon outside.
