On the first night I opened this, it came across extremely acidic and fairly light bodied. It seemed like a summery white that could do with a chill. However, after being open a few days, it seemed to put on weight, richness and complexity. It has been open 6 days now and is still drinking well, though a little faded. The acidity has mellowed out a bit and I am drinking it at cool room temperature (64).
Delightful wine with spark and verve. It has enough acids to cut through everything you might throw at it but enough spark and depth to be much much more. Balanced but not in any sort of neutral way the word implies.
And just when you think you got this wine's number, it fools you with something else. Very nice. I should rate this higher but want folks to read the reviews and not just short cut to the numbers when making a decision. If you are ever able to find a bottle you owe it to yourself to try this.
Not sure this rare Piedmont White is really available in the USA much through "regular trade channels" but try Garagiste and if you are lucky he may still have a few bottles. Not expensive.

Impressive. Sav Blanc feel, with more flavor and sweetness, and without the sharp finish. Highly recommended.
