What a nice surprise. This was my first bottle of Timorasso grapes. Tasted twice, 4 nights apart. 2nd night this was the 2nd wine after opening a bottle of Chenin Blanc from Swartland. (I much preferred this Vietti)
Pale, lemon appearance. Med+, developing aromas of lime, peach, honeysuckle, hay, wet stone, and pear. High acidity but well balanced. Med body, med+ flavor intensity, med+ finish. Very good wine that can be drunk now but is suitable for aging.

Aromas of green pear, crunchy apricot, vague citrus, green flowers, a little something umami and yeasty, a touch of clean fresh sweat, an ethereal saltiness... at once silky and cutting on the palate, dynamic texture, a little grip of tannin, subtle fruit skin flavors and bitterness. Long and complex on the finish, truly mineral, the stony and salty nuances are so clear. This is young and tense, and will get more interesting in a year or two, and may be worth following 5 to 10 years.

Crisp and refreshing, lighter-bodied, decent acidity. I have to admit that I don't spend a lot of time searching out non-Nebbiolo wines from Piemonte, but if this bottle is typical of the quality Timorasso can achieve, I can see myself drinking/buying more of them.

Reductive funk. Scents of crashed rock, seashells, almond skin, and lime zest. Fruit of green apple and peach. High acidity. A strong floral lift in midpalate. Finishes long with honey, acacia flower, and pithy bitterness. Oily and waxy textures. Saline minerality. Powerful acidity holds everything together.
A lot of interesting elements here. I would give a few more years to see how they all come together. I would love to revisit in 3,4 years.

What a unique bright and cheery Italian white. I think I liked this a lot more than the other notes here.
