Pop and pour. A little funky to start, but blew off with minimal swirling. On the nose: salt, melon, hay, soft herbs. On the palate: lovely density, oily mouthfeel, but solid acidity keeps it balanced. Some nice wet stone and mineral oil on the spicy finish. Very nice.

Floral and a bit waxy on the nose, green apples and tartness on the palate. Opened up to have some lemon candy and honey notes, acidity kept everything in check.

Rome, Florence, Bologna - Delayed 60th birthday trip; 10/19/2021-11/1/2021 (Rome, Florence, Bologna): From the wine list at Grano Ristorante (Rome). I really enjoy Timorasso, so was excited to try a producer that was new to me. Lemon and hay notes on the nose - smells great. Typical fuller mouthfeel, with citrus notes, minerals and a long finish. Great value.

Floral and fragrant but with a nice crisp lemon finish and melon and apple fruit. Very tasty.
