Moncur Syrah/Shiraz (Bistro Moncur, Sydney): Rich, plush, perfumed top notes, plentiful concentrated dark fruits, sweet oak spice, a little red hued/mint note. Medium plus intensity acidity, ridiculously concentrated, dense tight woody tannins are a little chalky textured, touch of liquorice here as well as a fair lick of alcohol warmth. Crikey again.
