Drunk nine day's ago, so my memory of this tasting has been diminished. Not decanted. More developped since my last bottle, but about the fourth, maybe fith day better than at the first. I guess that this wine will benefit from one and a half, two more years of keeping. No rating.

  2015 vintage: Slight tertiary aromas coming through, very low tannins, very smooth right now with no pronounced flavors. Drink until 2024, no more aging potential.

  Second bottle at least as good as the first. Ruby red like blood draw and plenty of fruit. Love the nice tannic finish — feels unfair at <$15; if only we could fuel cars with it.

  Agree with other tasters that found the nose unapproachable on pnp. Closed and funky on open. Luckily, some funk blew off with some air. More animal than musty. Quite fruity and complex on nosing after about an hour showing red, black and blue. Generous barrel seasoning and nice dusty tobacco. Some greenery and mint to boot.
  
  No sediment in bottle. Youthful appearance and fast flowing legs. broad clear rim and decent cherry red saturation.
  
  The palate is a bit less disappointing than the nose. Merlot dominated with light to medium mouthfeel. Tannins are spot on for 2015.
  
  The bright and lingering finish is the best part for me at this point. Mineral and minty.
  
  Overall on day 1 is an 84.
  
  Time to put this genie back in the bottle and see how it goes on day 2. Today my wishes were not granted.
  
  Day 2. Nose is still complex and subdued, but more tar and red fruits are present. Much more pleasant than day 1.
  
  Palate and finish are about the same as before.
  
  Maybe 85 today. Will not rub this lamp again...
