  • With grilled fish and burned butter.
    Aerated 60 min.

Let it breathe longer, drink at higher temp to avoid sulfur.

    Drink in 2026 again

  • Kleur: Licht strogeel. 50 + Kleur: 5 + Aroma / bouquet: 15 + Smaak / Afdronk: 20 + Algemeen / potentieel: 10 = 100/100

Colour: Light straw yellow. Aroma / bouquet: Typical Meursault nose of cooked cabbage and flint / sulfur (caused by limited batonnage), freshly baked baguette / butter / brioche, a hint of citrus and tropical fruit. Taste / Aftertaste: This wine is also 'Meursault' in everything on the palate, a start with sufficient acidity, thick-juicy and creamy mouthfeel, citrus, roasted nuts, some cabbage and brioche bread. Complex Meursault, refined and balanced. Above average long finish. General / potential: Brilliant 'Meursault', an "ordinary" 'villages' of exceptional class that can compete with rarer and more expensive wines, very special price-quality ratio. 50 + Colour: 5 + Aroma / bouquet: 15 + Taste / Aftertaste: 20 + General / potential: 10 = 100/100

  • buttery, oak, burned notes, hints of ripe apple and banana. Quite rich yet still elegant and vibrant. It did get better with some air. I would open 30 minutes before serving or wait 2-3 years.
    91-92p.

  • Medium yellow. Nose closed in the beginning. Later too much wood in the nose. Oppresses the underlying complexity. Quite young. Opens up in the glass. Rather complex but missing the butter / toast taste. Can hold
