6 of 12. Decanted @ 4:00 served @ 9:00. Still showing youthful dark purple core, tight nose of darker fruit which opened up a bit by the time I returned it to the bottle and left for Manhatta. Rich layered dark fruit, good minerality, fine tannins, balanced. Impressive texture and finish should continue to improve over the next 10 years and drink well for another 10. I do find this wine a wonderful mix of Gevery fruit, Dujac style and vintage intensity.

Hours of air were still insufficient for this bottle. It retained a tightness throughout that only unwound in small part, evidencing a need for more years in the cellar, where it should greatly improve. There was so much promise in the barely exposed fruit and secondary flavors, that this score is a today score only.

Lovely fragrant nose, stalks lend freshness to bursting, deep, cool blackcurrant and bramble fruit. Rich on the palate, with intense minerality. Intense drying tannins but they are very fine for the vintage. This is excellent.

5 of 12 Decanted @ 2:00 served @ 7:30 still dark dense core, shy even after 5 hours in the decanter…30 minutes in the glass and finally this puppy opened to reveal dense polished dark cherry fruit, balanced with fine tannins, smooth texture, long persistent finish. Best glass was the last

Great bottle tonight. Better than previous, too tight. Stem aromatics, serious and austere. Lot of muscle on palate.
