  Popped and poured. Color: Golden yellow, with hints of amber starting to show. On the nose restrained pear, honey beeswax, creme brulee. Palate apricots, peaches pears with light acidity. Lots of peaches and cream characteristics. Resilient but not quite the depth and swath I was looking for. Seems a little dormant. Private Preserved and put in refrigerator for the following weekend.

  The missus drank. She enjoyed the fruit but doesn't have too much to add.

  Lifted honey, melon and marzipan on nose; similar notes to the flavour, but the wine has lost much of its acidity and hence its definition. To some palates this may not matter, but I found the wine, though of very good quality, a little one dimensional and sweet.

  Confraria Dezembro 2013 (Agnelo - São Paulo - SP - Brasil): Good wine. However, there is an imbalance between acidity and sweetness, with prominence of the latter.
