Prior bottle was two years and two months ago and my notes were very consistent. White peach, lots of tropical notes, floral qualities and touch of honey on the nose. Between medium and full bodied with white, almost crystalline peach upfront, moving to beautiful white tropical (pineapple and mango) through the middle. As the wine warms, it turns more and more golden in fruit expression and the true depth of the mid-body starts to be revealed. The richness and density are both quite impressive and yet are still neatly balanced by the excellent acidity as well as tart orange, tart lemon and other citrus notes. There are honey notes through the middle, but as I purposely served this wine a bit cooler, they weren't as prominent as my immediately prior bottle. I really enjoyed the interplay between the rich white/gold fruit notes and the acidity and tart qualities - truly made for an exciting wine. As well as it showed tonight, this wine is still a baby with many years ahead of it.

A.P. 25770500614 Oh man, just way too early to open this, but I am not sure that I will be around when this is ready to go. Regardless, still such a delicious and young Riesling. FH may be my favorite producer and this did not disappoint. A massive citrus driven nose wafts of lemon, pineapple, mango, peach, grapefruit, and a hint of slate. I was unable to detect any botrytis. The palate is rich and oozing as FH always is. There is significant fruit on the palate, but it is all kept clean by the bracing acidity. Really, a marvelous wine. Hold! 94 Pts

Light golden color. Beautifully balanced on sweetness and acidity. Peach, honey, syrup aromas and flavors. Petroleum aroma as well.
