Decanted 1,5 hours. Nice but a little to dark for my taste. I just don't prefer Barolo from La Morra, I guess. WOTN for my wife on the other hand so not a bad wine.

hard as nails, and a monster as well... this wine at this stage was just a monalithic beast. after 12 years, i was interested in checking in, but now.... shoot i would not touch it for a minimum of 5 but closer to 10. and that's coming from someone who really does not care about the enamel on his teeth...

Barolos (Becky's House): Medium dark red color. Decanted for 3 hrs. Drank 1 glass over 2.5 hrs. This really grows on you, still needing time emerge. after another hour this was singing. The nose is very earthy, damp, cherry, red cerries, cedarbox, scorched earth, dried wood. The palate is elegant, nicely layered, with nice cherry and red berry fruit, leather, cedar, long silky finish. Tannins are round and starting to loosen. 93pts. My #2 WOTN and group #1 WOTN.

Andrea Oberto makes lovely Burgundyesque Barolos. 04 Vigneto Rocche is delicious.
