  • Here again in Meo Riche evening with various stronger vintages the 2011 vintage showed weak by comparison. It doesn't hold true for me for all winemakers but very few truly transcended the vintage imho. This bottle got greener and greener with air and ultimatley it was very difficult to render this enjoyable in comparison of 05, 08, 09, 12 and 13 vintage. Stand-alone this would likely have been very nice. So I guess the advise would be not to serve this next to better vintages.

  • Impressive showing without any greenness of the vintage. Mixed of dark and red fruit, spice, herbs and perfume. Precise and expressive on the palate with moderate weight and intensity. Well-made for the vintage. Totally stole the show from the 11 Roumier BM and 11 Mugnier Musigny on the side.
