Another incredible showing. Wine of the night in a showing of really good wines. Nose with savory, meaty notes; raspberry and cherry; damp leaf litter, mushroom; dried violet; the palate is the definition of elegance... lithe yet long with unbelievable balance and depth. Delicious.

This is simply stunning. I've had a lot of Eyrie wine including some South Block as well as a lot of Burgundy; and this is up there with the best of both that I've had. The nose is incredible, savory and smoky, dried currant, dried raspberry, dried violet, thyme, damp leaf litter, leather and iodine. The palate is vibrant and delicious; totally pure with lovely dried red berry fruits, seems weightless, but still has plenty of power and flavor. Outstanding.

With the Leves at Party Downtown, Eugene. What a statement for OR PN! Concern caused by the minor bricking was quickly diffused with the first hints of the nose: rose petal, heather, delicate red berry. The mouthfeel was of well-aged grand cru Chambertin. The combination between the clarity of secondary and primary flavored and their fusion was magical.

Wholly agree with the past notes. First Oregon pinot that made me smile. Outstanding in all aspects. 2 hours later, still singing.

Only the top 1% of Burgundies can touch this Oregon Pinot. Absolutely stunning example of what PN should be.
