The wine is clear, medium intensity and ruby in colour. The nose is clean, pronounced intensity, with primary aromas of floral and dried red fruit. Violet and rose and cherry, fennel, liquorice, tea, tomatoe leaf, green vine (good smell). Red cherry, red plum. Secondary oak cedar, tertiary leather. The wine is developing. The palate is dry, high acidity and high tannins, high alcohol at 15%. Full body. Flavour intensity is pronounced with all characteristics present. The finish is long. The quality is outstanding, can drink now, but has potential for aging.

Sweet dark cherry and plum notes are rich and ripe. Spice, pine forest and violets, a little red rose and mint too. Spicy, warm and round on the palate, but vibrant acids and fine tannins give it cut and grip. It stays quite typical for Brunello, avoiding softness. Warm and spicy finish, with a complex of cooling herbal and warm spice nuances lingering. As usual, this is an elegant and generous style for Brunello, showing beautifully on the early side, but no doubt capable of improving for 10+ years. It shows the warm growing season, but remains lively and fresh in the context of the vintage.

Some kirsch, dark cherry, dust, dried herbs, and old leather. Leans modern on the palate, and shows fine, slightly sweet tannins. Really good tension, and overall, well judged. A fine effort. Best 2024-2035. Easily recommended, and is likely to improve from here.

Very good; needs a few years; acidic and slightly tannic but deep rich fruit. A little pruny but very good. Will get better for 5 years at least
