(at Adour – NYC) Lovely ruby brick. Intense nose of sour cherry and strong sous bois with a touch of leather. Penetrating intensity. A bit sauvage and unresolved on the palate. Lovely fruit underneath a robe of acid and structure. Not ready today, but will it have enough fruit in the five years it needs? There is a lot to like, but I have reservations. Hopefully the gorgeous fruit will prevail. (88+?)
