Deep gold color. Caramelized yellow fruits, sweet honey, apricot yet with a mineral streak. Full body, dense and intense, with great acidity. The balance is impeccable. Very long finish. This is excellent and drinking great for an almost 50 years old wine.

Tasting of 4 Stony Hill Chardonnays at Primas. In those days, this was the ageing Chardonnay with a reputation better than Hanzell or Chateau Montelena by far. very sweet vanilla, almost cognac finish, My #2 of 4.

Incredibly youthful, lemony, really like a mature Raveneau. Fantastic!
