Familiar Sauvignon Blanc notes, with an added herbaceous taste. 2002 vintage going strong, with a color and body reminiscent of Sauternes. Highly recommend this wine, we paired with a Paella and it was outstanding.

Mature, medium plus gold appearance. Developing nose of sweet apricot, apple juice, roasted ear of corn with melted butter. Good acidity on the palate with maturing flavors of sweet-ish macerated apple-y fruit, apricot, buttery oak, with moderate length and medium minus perceived alcohol. The fruit sweetness here is just this side of bothersome. This is nice but feels a little past its best - the oak still shows pretty strongly but the fruit feels a little tired. Hard to believe this will get any better. Bought from WineBid, so provenance unknown.

A conservative score, this bottle so rocked. Just great nose and taste. Bested 2000 Pascal Cotat Sancerre Les Monts Damnés, 2002 Didier Dagueneau Pouilly-Fumé Pur Sang, 2003 Sanct Valentin Sauvignon and 2005 Villa Russiz Sauvignon de La Tour.

Great and very expressive! Way too young to drink!
