40th Birthday Old Vino Dinner (Era Bistro, Brisbane): This was the first red wine of the night, and was paired against a '71 Grange, which wasn't really fair on this wine. A really unappealing nose on it, but the palate still had a little fruit. Not a lot of length on it, and I'd say it's past its best years, but not over the hill yet. Having said that, it was a very enjoyable drink with pork loin, chestnuts and seeded mustard.
