The nose is a little sharp when it was cold and freshly opened. As it opened and warmed it showed mature nose with acacia flower and Wurthers candy on the finish. Really good.

Friday Dinner with Friends (St. Betty, IFC Mall, 8 Finance Street, Central, Hong Kong): Taken from the restaurant wine list as an aperitif and to accompany our light mainly seafood appetisers. I'm consistently impressed by Marc Colin's white burgundies and this was no exception: crisp, elegant, modern in its linearity but nodding to tradition with a very clean, light butteriness. This was reflected in both the nose and the palate. Clean and elegant...a perfect first glass of wine on a Friday evening and the second was great too! Not bad value at US$125 by Hong Kong restaurant standards in the city centre.

Straw colored
Lemon tart, mushroom and hint of floral notes. Despite being over aged, still had moderate fruit and balanced palate.

Modest in length but good texture. Fruit driven w/ a balanced level of acidity.

Pale gold. Lemons, apricots, and slate on the nose and palate. Beautiful.
