  • Excellent.
Resting is a must to let all the sediment settle out. Opened after transporting from cellar and was not the same as when let rest for 30days.
This had a beautiful floral open nose upon initial decant.
Palate of barnyard dusty roses with tar and crushed rocks mineralitity.
Kept joyously evolving for 3 hours.
Texture was unctuous and perfect with bright tones of citrus and youthful fruit.
    9.2/10

  • Very green tanins. Still has quite a bit of acidity but I have the sense that once the tannins drop out there will be nothing left in the wine. Doesn't show any of the better aspects of a brunello - no tobacco, no chocolate, no deep fruit. A truly disappointing bottle.
