The one with Tai Wah BCM: Leftovers from the previous night. Hauntingly youthful and fresh. Red silky fruit along with hawthorn and dark chocolate wafts on the opening while mulberries, tea leaves, truffle and roses dominate the palate. High concentration of fruit here with subtle acidity giving it the support it needs. Tannins have softened but still pretty sturdy. Not sure I like this though, felt a little too extracted for my preference.

Outstanding Barolo. Slow O'd for three hours; decanted for two. Waves of cherry, hints of tar, wafts of roses. Stellar wine, sailing through a long plateau.

Still seems young, with great structure and tarry minerality, juicy and elegant, with clear spice from the barrique. Beautiful balance and silky tannins. Has a long life ahead of it at this level
