The wine will be very linear throughout the tasting. First, the touch: this is the strong point of this very elegant wine because it gives the impression of having a silk taffeta on the palate. The juice remains fine although wine is completely untied. The balance is perfect in every way, it is evanescent more than powerful and the finish unfolds like a peacock tail on a beautiful cherry brandy which stretches with a very good length.
I love the classy side but the wine is very smooth on the palate, it lacks the depth to move to the level of excellence, however, the result is very convincing, this is high level.

Zachys auction at Formento's (Chicago, IL): For a "modernist" producer, this is remarkably restrained. There's a sweet cherry and spice aroma on the nose with a little more polish than I generally like in my nebbiolo. Juicy with nice breadth on the palate. Resolved now, but in no danger of decline.
