Lovely bottle of Dujac that seems pretty close to maturity. Dark cherry fruit with lots of freshness and verve and I can very clearly taste the stems in the wine. An ethereal texture leads to a fine, chiseled finish with notes of minerals and minty green leaves. Much more to it than the '07 served alongside.

Similar to last time, though perhaps a bit less power. Classic Dujac stems, brown sugar, and autumnal notes in its secondary phase. Beautiful wine and in the zone for consumption

Simply spectacular, and way better than the generic 92 rating....this is similar to the CdlR and CSD as fully representative of the Dujac style in this vintage. The bouquet comes roaring up from the glass with the classic secondary notes of earth, autumn leaves, and brown sugar predominating, and red/dark cherry fruit emerging with the palate. I believe the Roche is denser, and this is more open knit....closer to hitting its plateau. It delivers in spades

deep ruby. beautiful nose of sweet black cherry, dark fruit, perfume of fresh and dried flowers (lilac and violets?). some soil and a hint of spice. with air a bit of secondary cabbagey complexity. some muscularity on the palate but tannins are smooth and more or less resolved. A nice drink.

On point. Elegance, richness, some spice and overall classy. No harm in holding for a year or three more but why wait!
