A hint of RS keeps this from being rated higher. Stone fruit and sufficient acidity, mid-weight. Varietally correct? Not sure what I might have pegged it as.

Willamette Valley - Tasted at winery: Nose of candy, sweet, pineapple and stone fruits. Flavors of stone fruits, pineapple and oak. Light bodied. Fairly well balanced and enjoyable.

- Light gold color with fast forming legs and aromas of lemon and pineapple. It's somewhat balanced with a light/medium body. Juicy texture with a short finish.

Visits to Cristom, St. Innocent, Johan, Argyle, Dobbes, Chehalem: Very light tropical fruits on the nose that are pretty nice, but they seem quite buried. Not very up front for a Viognier, though the smells are typical. Nice pineapple flavors on the palate, complete with the acidic nature of that fruit. Quite fruit forward and creamy in texture. The finish shows some nice acid on a crisp approach. Nice spicy, but things are a little out of balance on the finish.
