Syrah and Viognier (Farpointe Cellar): The nose had loads of apricot, some floral notes, a slight hints of mango and peach. The palate was very floral, with good acidity, and had peach, spice, and a apricot finish.

I liked this. Peach, apricot, apple/pear, and a touch of citrus on the nose. And then a minerally zesty palate with medium weight fruit. This was refreshing with stimulating flavors. Not at all thick or oaky.

Pale straw. Verdant, unctuous, peachy apricot flavours dominate, with very little of the petrol that tends to characterize this varietal. The fruit and sweetness are well balanced by acidity. Another good fine wine.

Cork 2 Year Anniversary (Cork - A Bottle Shop, Portland OR): Nice smells of pear, with a floral component. A bit too sweet for me, however, but the pear and mango flavors are quite nice. Very Good - 85 points.

Oregon Pinot Tasting: Cristom, SI, Siduri, Belle Pente, Autuer etc.. (The Vineyard Lunch Gang): My first Oregon Viognier. A nice wine but far from inspiring. A bit of cream on the nose and some heat. The palate was more Roussanne like. Not much complexity on the palate. I enjoyed this and for the price was not disappointed but I was not wowed. Drink soon.
