  Basically what an aged shiraz should taste like. Extremely smooth, lots of flavor but not heavy at all. Faded blue fruits in the background with leather and secondary notes in the fore.

  Drank from a half bottle. This was delicious - very light on it's feet and complex. Some good tertiary flavors, but this could probably age further. Would definitely buy again.

  Immediately captivating nose, leans into some of the savory grilled character but also much cooler on the fruit side of the spectrum. Fresh, not jammy. Hoisin sauce and bay leaf around the edges.
  
  Still as sharp as a whip on the acid side, suggesting it's got lots of life in it still, but it's in a great spot. A real pleasure to drink.

  Really lovely, it has that Shiraz DNA from its bigger, bolder cousins but it has much more restraint which make it a perfect combination of punch and finesse. Excellent bottle.
