  Still a fairly youthful pale straw color. Nose showed some citrus, green apple, and sweet dough. Similar on the palate, smooth bubbles, just a tiny bit sweet but still nicely balanced; just a hint of mature honey. Long and pleasant finish of apple and pineapple, leaving that nice ocean air saltiness on the lips. Very tasty, though probably to be consumed soon. Much better than the previous bottle opened a few years ago, which was quite tart. Either that bottle was off or this wine has mellowed.
