  • Very good. Last bottle was clearly corked. This is fresh, complex and very Champagne like. Great, complex aperitif and went well with lobster bisque - although maybe not as well as a Kumeu River Coddington 2006, which trampled on this and made it taste like Alsace or Lux crémant later.
    That aside very good, classic vintage champagne. Fair price too.
    Later after dark choc reminiscent of a Desom 2014 crémant. Strange.

  • I hope this is corked. I get a very faint whiff of TCA on some sips but this is not good. Lacking any aromatics, corrct on the palate but no classic champagne aromas. Very disappointing.
    Okay this is definitely corked. Just got a whiff of wet cardboard.
