Community Tasting Notes (1) Avg Score: 90 points

  • Bottle in good condition. Cork close to completely soaked but intact, minimal seepage. Medium crimson colour, some fine sediment. Red fruit, dill, tobacco, espresso, complex spice notes, cinnamon, clove, and balsamic notes, with medium-level acidity, fully resolved tannin, and very good length. Intense dill on the long finish. Medium-bodied, and smoothly textured, with good balance. Average to good concentration, good complexity, and great persistence. Mostly consistent on day two. No reason to hold any longer but no need to hurry either. Drink now and over the next eight to ten years.
